Ques. What can students currently in 10+2 do to improve their chances of admission at PGDAV College?

Ans. Students in 10+2 can improve their admission chances at PGDAV College by scoring at least 45% in their exams. They should prepare well for the CUET-UG exam, focusing on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for B.Sc., or relevant subjects for BA and B.Com. Practice with mock tests and study the NCERT books. Check course-specific subject requirements on the DU CSAS portal. Good marks in 10+2 and high CUET-UG scores help meet cutoffs. Students should also register early on the DU CSAS portal to select PGDAV College.

Ques. Can students from outside Delhi apply for admission to PGDAV College?

Ans. Yes, students from outside Delhi can apply for admission at PGDAV College. The college accepts applications from all over India through the DU CSAS portal. About 70% of PGDAV College students are from outside Delhi. Applicants need to take the CUET-UG for undergraduate courses or CUET-PG for postgraduate courses and meet the eligibility criteria, like 45% in 10+2 for UG. They must register on the DU CSAS portal and select PGDAV College as a preference for seat allotment.

Ques. Can the admission process for PGDAV College be fully completed online?

Ans. The admission process for PGDAV College can be mostly completed online. Students apply through the DU CSAS portal by registering and selecting PGDAV College and their course. They upload documents like mark sheets and CUET scores online. After seat allotment, students accept seats and pay fees online. However, students must visit the college for document verification to finalize admission. The process is managed through the DU CSAS portal, ensuring most steps are online except for the in-person verification.

Ques. Which courses can I be eligible for in PGDAV College with a CUET PG score of 170?

Ans. With a CUET PG score of 170, students may be eligible for M.A., M.Com., or M.Sc (Mathematics) at PGDAV College, depending on the cutoff. For 2025, M.Sc (Mathematics) cutoffs closed at 104-135, M.Com at 118-159, and M.A at 86-220 for the General category in Round 3. A score of 170 may qualify for M.A. (Political Science, Hindi) or M.Com, but eligibility depends on category and specific course cutoffs.

Ques. What happens if the applicant’s name is not on the merit list released by PGDAV College?

Ans. If an applicant’s name is not on the merit list released by PGDAV College, they are not selected in that round. They can wait for the next round of seat allotment through the DU CSAS portal, as multiple rounds are conducted. If no seat is allotted in any round, they can explore other colleges or courses with lower cutoffs or consider reapplying next year with a better CUET score.
