Hostel Facilities:

My college is nit provide hostel facility but outside are p.g so student get in p.g to stay. They are no more costly. They are provides 2 times meals a day.

I've been living in a PG which is near to my college and almost for all the PGs in that area charges rentals approximately from 10-14k per month(including food) else it is 6-7k (excluding food). I don't much know about the hostel facilities but about the PG it is quite hectic to find according to your suitable conditions and terms. Also after living for a year in PG in my first year, I don't find PGs much comfortable to live in since I shared a room with two other people with me which is fine but the rooms are not that spacious plus it's really makes me feel suffocated and of course the bathrooms I am person who can't adjust with my hygiene requirements, I need everything clean and proper and PG is not a place where everything can be according to you so yes that's where I decided to live in a flat or a place of mine near my college since I couldn't adjust even with my PG uncle he was bizarre and odd so yeah.

no, but DU do provide hostel facility but hostel seats in Delhi University colleges are limited and DU hostels are allotted to students on the basis of merit only. Students are informed that admission in a particular DU college does not guarantee hostel accommodation. among total of the seats 15% seats are reserved for SC students. 7½% seats are reserved for ST students.

No there are no facilities for hostel in my college. As i am a residential of delhi university so there was no need for me to renting a pg near college but for some students coming from outside delhi take pg's in sharing which cost them around 6000 to 10000 per head for minimum 2 and maximum 4 people including water electricity and it varies from location to location and living space. Nowadays there are many pgs available for students near college it is easy to get a pg for 6000 per head in sharing in a normal flat.

PGDAV College (M) review

There are no hostel facilities as of now in PGDAV College. Students not belonging to Delhi usually lives in nearby colonies. The college has great connectivity. Delhi Metro Station Vinobapuri is at a distance of 200m from the college.

ME AND MY COLLEGE

I am not residing in the hostel but in a flat which I had rented. The flat is quite good with one room, kitchen and bathroom. For this flat, I have to pay 12000 rupees per month. Here the facilities are good and are arranged by myself. There is a slow internet network on my phone.

Fine College With Amazing Faculty

College infrastructure is good and we don't have hostel facilities in our college and we have a basketball court 2 volleyball courts and a big ground where we have cricket pitch and a small ground for stage practices we have different department rooms computer labs and a lot of cultural practices rooms

There is no hostel facility. But there is a canteen. The canteen is quite large. It serves good and hygiene quality foods with a feasible respective price. The price is good for the food. One can fill his stomach with 30 rupees. The menu is large and varietal foods. It is known for the biggest canteen in the University of Delhi.

Missing life of college

When I was in college here is not any hostel facilities but in future it is constructed definitely. And the food facilities is very good there are lot of canteens in campus surrounding so that students can eat food which they want very easily. Many students who apply for DU admissions do not belong to Delhi and thus apply for hostel accommodation. But the point to note here is that around 17 DU colleges only offer boarding facilities on-campus. Apart from that, the varsity offers around 19 off-campus hostels. Thus, as per stats shared by DU insiders, the varsity offers only around 9,000 hostel rooms to accommodate approximately 2 lakh students who are currently pursuing different courses at DU. Candidates are informed that there is no centralised form to apply for hostels at Delhi University (DU). Thus, as part of DU admissions 2017, all aspirants who want to apply for hostels need to contact the concerned college directly or download the hostel form from the respective college's official website. Generally, the cost of the hostel form for unreserved/OBC category students is between Rs 100 to Rs 150. Also, if an aspirant pays the application fee by means of demand draft/money order then the fee to be paid can also be around Rs 200. For SC/ST/PwD the application fee is Rs 100. Sources share that accommodation in hostels of DU colleges will be offered to eligible candidates on the basis of merit as well as availability of hostel rooms. Also, there is reservation for securing hostel rooms as part of DU admissions. Official website of DU informs: “The allotment of seats in Hostels to Scheduled Caste/Tribe Students should be based on merit of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe”. It is further shared that, “only such students should be considered for Hostel accommodation whose parents are not residing in Delhi”. Apart from the above mentioned reservation, some seats in hostels are reserved for students falling under the CW quota, that is, Children/Widows of eligible Armed Forces Personnel.

No Filter Campus Life

Campus Life:

The annual fest which hapens in my college is Arohana , it happenes every year and include many activities, stalls, DJs etc. But what excites and brings me joy the most in my college is the Library, It has a lot of books in it and big reading space, i spent most of my time there reading and studying. My collee is also famous for its sports activities like it have Football, cricket and basket ball etc. It has its own Gym also inclusing the basketball court and the big ground. there are some amaing sports clubs and socities to join for the students.
