The placements are good considering it is a non-technical institute and the placement cell is very active. Students from 1st semester can apply for internships which comes on regular basis so there are olenty of opportunities for internships. A lot of my friends are doing internships in big companies (like EY, KPMG etc.) For the placements, the students gets eligible after the fourth semester and all the placements are handled by placement cell. You have to provide your information like contact information, resume and gpa as the basic information for sitting in placements. Tier - 1,2 and 3 companies visit college campus including the big four The highest package offered was around 21 lpa and the average package is around 6 lakhs. For statistics, a lot of alumnis sre doing great. For an instance, one day an alumni visited us and she did her master's from Harvard and was placed at Microsoft. I personally don't want to do jobs in corporate so I am focusing on my music career

The course curriculum is quite easy if you are interested in statistics and have fun playing with numbers and charts. Also, faculty is also very nice and helpful they intend to help you as much as possible

Our college has a very active placement cell which keeps conducting seminars and every now and then internship opportunities are posted on the official groups for the students to check. I have seen maximum placement opportunities for Maths, Economics, Bcom, Statistics, English, Physics but yes there used to come many placement opportunities for in general all the course. The percentage of students placed are not that high but they do provide a decent package for each of them. The highest salary package offered was 18-19 lakhs per annum by the DE Shaw company.

Delhi University has the most post-undergraduate opportunities in India. I participate actively in extra-curricular activities and there's no place better than DU for that. Moreover, I chose Sri Venkateswara College because it has the best department for statistics and has great Placement opportunities with it's placement cell being ranked amongst the top 4 in DU.

In our college canteen food half of the food items good and half of the bed they are improving their canteen facility but me and my friends prefer to eat outside because in college main food is not good it's the boring food I can say not so good choice of food.
