Placement Experience:

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course as it's a multidisciplinary course that opens a wide variety of fields for me to pursue and choose my interest.I choose these course on the suggestion of my senior and some google searches. I believe while our curriculum provides a strong base for botany, zoology and chemistry there are areas too where it can be improved: Strengths: 1.Solid theoretical foundation. 2.Laboratories experience 3.Research opportunities Areas for Improvement: 1.More integration of interdisciplinary subjects 2.More empathy on practical skills rather than theoretical 3.Make better suited for industries Teaching methods can be improved by Active learning approach and Real world case studies In this course u will have internal exams before every sem and 2 sem exams every year and its not that much difficult

Placement Experience:

The college has a specific department which looks after the placement and internship related ventures for the students. The placement cell is basically run by students and teachers staff to provide placements to the students who wish to join. A bunch of companies participate in the placement process such as Redseer , Deloitte , KPMG etc. The placement process takes place from the 5th semester onwards. The average package accounts for upto 3 lacs per annum , whereas the highest package can reach upto 8 to 9 Lacs per annum. In the life science course students generally opt for higher studies and go for research of educational fields

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose to pursue was B.Sc in Life Science. I chose to pursue my Bachelor's in Life Science because it was a Program course. The benefit of pursuing a program course over an honours courese is that it gives you more options and opportunities to explore after your graduation is done. You get a chance to find your true calling. My core subjects were Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Besides that we have to select an extra subject (AECC or SEC) of our choice. My initial AECC were EVS and English in the 1st and 2nd semester respectively. My SEC subjects were Biofertilisers (3rd sem), Sericulture (4th sem), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (5th sem), and Intellectual Property Rights (6th sem). The course design was highly comprehensive. The syllabus was designed inclusively to have all the necessary units which it takes to build a life science graduate who is well versed with a little bit of everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course mainly contains chemistry, botany and zoology. It also requires the lab for each and particular subject and our college has well maintained the proper and good hygiene that lab always needed. Apart from this we also have ge, vac, aec these also help us ti have more idea about other subjects apart from the core subjects. Ge and aec can also enhace our language ability and help more and more to know other languages and have proper sense on our mother language as well. Whereas vac help us to create more and more to our technical and political aspect according to our intrest. If we need technical subjects are available for our help and also the same to political ideas about our nation. All college must implement the same aspect that we follow i guess. Interms of our availability of resources to our curriculum that hepls students to have much more better knowledge about world and about our subjects
