Course Curriculum Overview

The course is detailed and covers wide variety of topics that make student well equipped for further learning process. The course is a bit hectic as there is a major chunk of syllabus to be covered , along with regular practical labs to be attended. Additional to this , there are periodic tests for the evaluation for the assessment.

Internships Opportunities

The college offers summer placements for the internships which is maintained by the college placement cells. The companies participating in the process ranges from Deloitte , KPMG , Accenture , Redseer etc. The roles being offered belong to marketing ,content and consultancy roles. The stipend varies from 5 thousand per month to 15 thousand per month. The students receives great exposure to work with the big firms.

Placement Experience

The college has a specific department which looks after the placement and internship related ventures for the students. The placement cell is basically run by students and teachers staff to provide placements to the students who wish to join. A bunch of companies participate in the placement process such as Redseer , Deloitte , KPMG etc. The placement process takes place from the 5th semester onwards. The average package accounts for upto 3 lacs per annum , whereas the highest package can reach upto 8 to 9 Lacs per annum. In the life science course students generally opt for higher studies and go for research of educational fields

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is pretty affordable as it charges decent fees of 50,000 in 3 years. However living around the campus can be very expensive. The college also provides hostel facility to around 100 of its students , charging around 10,000 per month. The college also provides financial assitance to various students falling under the beneficiary criteria of the scholarships like for single girl child , for EWS , and for meritorious students also.

Campus Life

The college has a lively atmosphere primarily due to the number of clubs , societies and associations fostered by the college. The college has an annual fest Mosaic. Weekly , around 2 3 fest are being hosted on the campus by different societies. This provides immense exposure to the students and help them in their multidimensional growth as well. There are ECA societies catering to the needs of the passion of the students. The sports facilities are extremely good at the campus with proper and well maintained gyms. The library is one of the best things in the campus with AC Facilities and wide variety of books.

Admission

The college has a multi process step system for the admission process. Earlier , merit based admissions were held , wherein students were required to meet the certain cutoff with respect to their 12th boards examination. However , now CUET entrance results are being considered for the admission. The reserved category students avail certain benefits in the admission process where marks for the eligibility are a bit low.

Faculty

The faculty of Ramjas college is respectable and holds a good image in the campus. The teachers as well the supportive staff is focused to make student's college life a better place. The teaching staff is well trained and well qualified .They try to enhance the teaching process for the students. They also provide students with the opportunities to perform well in other domains of college life as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.

Most of the placements are from Bcom coures and Bsc stats honors ,BA courses doesn't promote much placement.Being in Hindu College we can make carrier in our specific courses but also apart from that societies here help in personality development and skill enhancement which prepare us for future.
