Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is Great here. But the NEP included course like GE, SEC, VAC should be removed as it just waste time and does not add any value in us. Curriculum in iteself doesn't not prepare for real world application, which js sane in other colleges also. we have to find Opportunities which is easy to get in ramjas college

Internships Opportunities

4

The placement cell which is Pinnacle sends regular opening for placement and internship opportunity. Companies comsre here included- Deloitte, EY, Paytm , Cream bell, BCG and other audit firms and other companies.

Placement Experience

4

Placement here are good for commerce and economics courses. We have to explore for them which is easier as compared to other colleges below it. If we work as constantly look for opportunities we can have good placemeent here. Also you have to have an add on course like CA, CFA etc. if you really want good placement .

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees for B.Com Program in Ramjas is - 17062 Ramjas college focuses on affordability as compared to other du colleges, It's fees is less as compared to other top notch colleges of DU. Batchmates have the same fees. Also therre are scholarship available under Vice chancellor scholarship of Dellhi university.

Campus Life

4

The name of annual festival is- MOSAIC IT IS NOT AS grear as mecca of hindu but it is good. Range and accessibility of books and journal in library is good but not that great. Facilities and technological provision in labs are good. Sports and extracurricular activities offered in campus is good, we have a seperate building for sports equipment. Ramjas has the biggest campus as compare to any campus of north campus.

Admission

I have applied to other colleges of DU which included SRCC , Hindu college , Hanaraj college, Kirorimal college But could not make it because my Economics maks was not meetingg the cutoff. CUET economics in 2025 is way toigher as compare to previous years.

Faculty

4

* Faculty here are very approachable, I did not felt any boundaries between faculties and students in approachability. *I liked Nainshree mam of Financial Accounting for her approachibility. * There are 1 exam per semester wirh regular assignment and viva.

Night Life

5

* Rhere are immense gym, cafe. Library, public spaces in vijay nagar , kamla nagar, hudson lane. Most of them are opened till 11 PM and some shops are 24 hours. Even in mid night the streets are really safe of camkous and nearby areas and you can find students in the mid night also.

My course is pretty expanded than before and the syllabus is very long and tough and sometimes it's difficult to complete in one semester and practical part of my course is also less and i think they should more practical and less theory exams in my course and sometimes the the syllabus of my course is very long in some semester so we face difficulty to complete the syllabus and didn't able to focus on practical par and there is very less practical part in my course and more theory so i think they have to focus more on practicals part and less theory and computer Lab in my college is also very less and some computer is not working and the students in class is many and the teacher is one so sometimes it's difficult to understand in computer with many students and i think they should put projector in class for better understanding and the theory exam in my course is also very lengthy and they give less time so it's difficult to complete on time and the marking scheme is also not appropriate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a little interested in money management since childhood, that's why I chose B.Com because it teaches about money management. If we talk about the syllabus and how much it connects with the real world, then it is very little. We are taught the same old syllabus which has been changed a long time ago. Mainly in the accounts subject, first of all one should see what is going on in the real world and what is there in the syllabus. The same syllabus is repeated again and again while the world is changing very fast. The exams are improving but the syllabus needs improvement. The exam is going well

Students often get placement before their 3rd year or last semester is completed. Highest placement this year (2025) was around 32 lakhs p.a. but only a few get that kind of a placement. Average placement stays 4 lakhs p.a. in campus placements. Most students go through a good network on their own. My plan is to get a campus placement or a government job
