Which DU college is better, Ramjas or Sri Venkateswara for B.Com?

Both Ramjas and Sri Venkateswara are reputed colleges under Delhi University. According to the reviews online Sri Venkateswara (SVC) is better when it comes to commerce than Ramjas. SVC has better placements, faculty and overall exposure. Both colleges are very much involved in cultural activities and extracurriculars. If you are willing to opt for a science course then go for Ramjas, Commerce is better in SVC. They both have no strict rules to maintain a 75% attendance, you should just have enough to sit for the internals. The fee structure of Ramjas College varies depending on the course you are enrolled in. The fees of mostly courses are affordable in terms of money and much lesser compared to other colleges. My course is bcom program and my fees is 17098 rupees. Bcom honours fees is also approximately 16000 rupees. Other courses fees also range approximately from 16000 to 22000 rupees. Flexible lectures and attendance is something that provides opportunity to work on side hustles to the students.

I feel that the studies in ramjas college are quite affordable as the fees for my course in 17098. Apart from this amount no extra amount has been charged from us and if compared to other private institutions you need to pay extra money for n number of facilities either be library, parking, labs, sports extra. This is the perks of being in a government college that you get best education at cheapest prices.

Overall experience in , out and around Ramjas

The year wise fees which I paid is 17098 my peers with reservation is around 15000 I don't exactly know the accurate value but it is the estimated value . The yearly fees will be around 50000 for me and 45000 for my reserved peers. I am not aware of scholarship programs of my college currently so I have no say on that. Overall I feel my course is pretty affordable

17098 is my fees which is general category 1.4k exam fees 33k is the fees for srcc and other colleges which is way more than our college which is ramjas so it is more affordable fees for pwd is just 145 rupees for the whole year

The yearly fees I paid is 17,098 inclusive of every facilities except hostels. But as being a J&K student I got pmsss scholarship with full fee coverage..and 1 lpa for expenses There are multiple scholarship provided by ramjas college : 1. Merit based for SC ,ST ,OBC and PwD 2.financial support by DU upto 15k And many more

Facts regarding Ramjas

The Fees of Ramjas College Bcom Hons is 17098. And I have not availed any scholarship. I have applied in the National Scholarship Portal and the form was saying that you are not eligible despite of the facts that i have all the necessary documents and all. And The fees of this college is not increasing .

One Month at Ramjas

Up until now have paid 17089, not sure regarding upcoming fee details.There has been no other charges in the form of caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges. Not sure regarding the amounts of scholarships available and fee structure of other categories

Amazing college

Fee structure is quite affordable. It comes to around 16500 per semester and for sc/st students, it is way less and they can also avail additional concessions and scholarships. INSPIRE program is available for science students

The pros & cons of ramjas

Thye yearwise fee we pay is around Rs. 16500 and if we include the exam registration fee as well the total is Rs. 19000 Reliance scholarship is available for students, with many of them availing this... it covers atleast 905 of their fees.
