The course I choose to pursue was B.Sc in Life Science. I chose to pursue my Bachelor's in Life Science because it was a Program course. The benefit of pursuing a program course over an honours courese is that it gives you more options and opportunities to explore after your graduation is done. You get a chance to find your true calling. My core subjects were Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Besides that we have to select an extra subject (AECC or SEC) of our choice. My initial AECC were EVS and English in the 1st and 2nd semester respectively. My SEC subjects were Biofertilisers (3rd sem), Sericulture (4th sem), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (5th sem), and Intellectual Property Rights (6th sem). The course design was highly comprehensive. The syllabus was designed inclusively to have all the necessary units which it takes to build a life science graduate who is well versed with a little bit of everything.

I chose my course as it will help me to build my career. I chose Life sciences as I'm interested in the biological sciences and it has zoology, botany and chemistry in it. The curriculum does not prepare us for jobs, a master's degree is required for future prospects.

REASON OF CHOOSING: Life sciences is a multidisciplinary course with opportunities in almost all new fields of biosciences- like you can specialise in plain courses of biology such as botany and zoology and chemistry or you can go for many industrial corses after doing life sciences like clinical research, bioinformatics, phd life sciences, genetic engineering, biotechnology, dairy and other farming courses. FACULTY:STUDENT ratio: Faculty student ratio is very good (about 1:30). QUALITY OF FACULTY: We have very cooperative teachers with all time support provided by them. All the teachers are PHD here with more than significant knowledge of their fields and are experts of their fields, especially the zoology and botany departments. TEACHING METHOD: There is an inclusive teaching method with presentations, discussions. Presentations are prepared by faculty only and the syllabus is completed in almost subjects within time in both theory and practicals. TERM EXAMS: Timely and moderate.

1- because this course allows me to peruse my post graduation in chemistry, botany, zoology. 2- the rato about faculty: student is around 1:50 3- faculties are great most of them completed their studies from top institutes and universities of India, the teaching methods are fantastic. 4- their is semester system is present in which term exam are conducted in 6-6 months interval and you have to study hard to clear them.

I want to pursue a career in the field of environmental science so I thought it would be better to take a course related to it. The student faculty ratio is good as for my section of 76 students there are three to six proffesors taking each subject segregated based on theory and practical papers. I'm not sure of everyone's qualification but most of them have completed their PhDs of their respective fields. The term exams is conducted by the University so it's regular but the college internls could be better planned and properly scheduled rather tham teachers doing their own schedulling for their subjects. Passing the papers is moderately easy but you have to read a lot of syllabus for it which is the hardest part.
The course curriculum is very efficient and it is very useful we have to do many practicals and experiments which give us real-life knowledge and help us to understand things more efficiently. The subject is very practical and very interesting we have a lot of lab work to do in our course. We have to regularly attend our lap classes and theory lectures. The faculty's student ratio is very good teacher pay students to attend and help students understand things efficiently full stop the qualification of the faculty is very good the teachers are of high-level teaching and they have many degrees. R college has one of the best professors at Delhi University there are two sections of Life Science Bachelor of Science in our college so that teachers can look after students efficiently. The teaching method is also very good the teachers are very much interactive and are good listeners. You have to regularly complete your practical file and assignments and do your practicals on time in our college Ramjas.
Life sciences give opportunities in fields of research and you can go in any field. It also gives opportunities to know and study the evolution of nature and related things. one can study chemistry too in life sciences.
Because of my interests, I choose this college. Approx 10/70 It's a good ratio as all the people get benefits. Most of my teachers have done undergrad and post-grad and some have even completed Ph.D. degrees. Faculty is good except botany faculty. No regular classes for botany. Approx after 4 months. Exams are from easy to moderate levels.
I chose this course because of the vast curriculum and scope of the course. The faculty was excellent a very helpful nature. There were about 15 teachers for 75 student class. The faculty members were highly qualified, many were PhD and Master's degree holders. The exams were on time as per the university timeline and if anyone is attentive during the class, he/she can score 70+% in exams.
