Mata Sundari Women’s College

Likes

Faculty is too good. Teachers are so helpful and nice, you can resolve your doubts and classrooms are also decent and some are very good.
Students are friendly and have nice vibes. They are not toxic or something that if you want to make friends you will get some very good ones.
Socities exposure and participation is very well. If you want escape from studies socities are best to learn something and to spend time.

Dislikes

This is women's college so there are no boys allowed. Therefore if you are someone who want coed environment you will not get it here.
Campus is so small. Hence, there is no campus life yiu just can chill with your mate in the small space they provide.
Our canteen is expensive like it don't justify the food quantity.

Placement Experience:

Mine college placements is decent like it is 4 to 7 lakhs per annum from the companies like wipro, etc but it can be more also it depends upon the skills of the individual. And yeah good amount of people get placements. My plans after graduation is to persue MBA and to work in MNCs.

The faculty is nice. The teachers are very helpful. Concepts are very easily explained by the teachers

The campus is small and very little space to sit.

I chose b.com(Hons) as I always wanted to go for a degree in commerce fields only as I have interest in finance domain, the Hons course is helping me study such subjects and get more knowledge about the same

An overview of my college

Likes

The best part has to be it's gurudwara and auditorium where we enrich ourselves with ethical and educational values.
The teaching and non teaching staff is very friendly and experienced.
I loved being a part of many departmental and cultural societies of this college. All of them are very actively working in their departments.

Dislikes

I really like to suggest the cafeteria to improve its quality of food as it is a bit overpriced comparing to the quality they're serving.
Only thing that keeps us bothered is the size of the campus as it is not very big and spacious like other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Our placement cell is actively working on providing placements and internships to the students. There are a variety of job profiles offered that are suitable for every course. Students can sit for placement in their third year and internships are actively offered so others can apply for those as well. Companies such as DeShaw, Dream Jobs and Ngos visit our college for recruitment. And the average salary package is 2 LPA.

Honest review for the college Mata Sundari , delhi University

Likes

The infrastructure of college is quite good and spacious. Auditorium is of great size and canteen is also big and spacious.
Library of the college is very peaceful and clean. All the washrooms are neat and clean.
All the staff are very friendly and sweet. There is anti ragging policy which makes the campus more friendly.

Dislikes

Campus doesn't have ground where you can hangout with friends.
Canteen's food is quite expensive and there are less options.

There are many internship opportunities available starting from 1st year (1st semester onwards) . For the job placement you should have been in 6th semester or graduate to get placed. The companies like Wipro , maruti Suzuki, ICICI prudential, tech Mahindra, zomato , tech for india etc visited our college campus for placement. 70% students get placed every year . I am planning to pursue masters degree .

Canteen food is quite good. Canteen uncle is very sweet too.
Teachers are quite supportive. They help you in every possible way they could.

Dislikes

Placement and internship opportunities are not good. They provide with very low packages.

Placement opportunities are not much higher. They provide with very low packages on average. Only once or twice I have seen packages with 10 lakh CTC pa. For employment, you will have to look for good opportunities off campus only. Though students option to apply in them, but I didn't find them suitable for myself.

Overall a Great College for Girls, But Campus is a bit Small

Likes

One of the best canteen among DU colleges, really spacious and so much variety of food.
Students are all very friendly, makes you feel at home, no unnecessary bullying or anything.
Placement Cell brings top of the companies to campus for hiring process

Dislikes

Very less Club and Committes like there is no Fashion Society, no book club rtv.
Less interactions with other colleges as not allowed in fests
Infrastructure is good but the college campus is quite small

Placement Experience:

From your first year, you can take up internships offered by placement cell and employment opportunities starts coming in for final year students. Highest package is around 8 lakhs and average is 3.5 lakhs. Companies like Leverage Edu, Deloitte, Upgrad, Zomato etc. visit the campus and hires students.

Mata sundri college for Women review

Likes

Some things in the canteen like brownie and milkshakes etc. Rajma chawal is a must
Campus is neat and clean always, no littering and proper cleaning
Faculty is friendly and reliable , top floor classrooms are Ac equipped.

Dislikes

Canteen food was ok at first but slowly quality has been reduced
Washrooms are the dirtiest. But teachers' one is always clean.
Campus size is not that big to roam around

Placement Experience:

3rd year students are offered placements by companies like wipro, flipkart, etc. If u wanna go ahead , u can apply. Average salary is 2lakh per annum. 85% students get placed every year. I wont opt for placement bcoz i will pursue an Mba.

I like the cafeteria but the prices are quite high as compare to the campus colleges of DU.
All the books are available mostly in our library.

Placement Experience:

Placements as such are good. Companies like KPMG, and others came to our college for the placements. The highest packages offered are a maximum of 300000 per year. 30-40% of students got placements from our college.

Life at Mata Sundri College, Delhi University

Likes

Societies, Events, fests are very well organised
Infrastructure facilities like canteen, common room is well managed
Faculties of commerce department is so supportive and knowledgeable

Dislikes

Playground is not big enough and not well cleaned.

Placement Experience:

Placement in our college is different from course to course. This year KPMG also came to our campus for placement. Kearney, Deloitte, and a lot of good companies are also on the list. The placement is well managed by students and faculties of the placement cell.
