The teaching staff is amazing, providing in depth knowledge of every subject, making it easier to have a good grasp on the subjects.
Montage, the annual cultural fest of jmc is great, giving us 2 full days of enjoyment and exposure.
!but it's good because we have to write in a very short and beautiful way!

Dislikes

Annual cultural fest is not as good as other du colleges
No air conditioner- there are no air conditioners in classrooms except in the library and the lab, however at such a low fee structure you cannot expect air conditioned classrooms
The library staffs are rude in nature and students find it difficult to communicate with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is amazing. There are 3 DSC each semester and 1 VAC 1 SEC AND 1 GE and 1 Practical course The difficulty level is high, therefore there is a need of regular studies. Mathematics and AI go hand in hand so it is very helpful course for those who want to persue their career in AI and Analysis.

All about JMC

Likes

I really liked the crowd. It makes a student grow her personality and become a more confident individual.
The societies in DU are indeed the best as they provide us the maximum exposure to college life and we learn a lot from it.
Infrastructure is very nice. The college has a wonderful campus with indoor and outdoor gym and many small places for students to hang out. It’s very pretty as well , the famous pink tree makes it look more beautiful every winter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I liked Mathematics ever since I was a kid. The faculty here is nice and very well educated. Mostly teachers are holding PhDs in their respective fields which makes them so good.

The people - I have found the really good friends here at JMC.
The opportunities given to someone who is a student here for their development.
I love our campus, especially during Spring because it looks beautiful with the flowers being in full bloom.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure - more specifically the labs, could be better.
The Course in general is pretty theoretical and it doesn't have a lot of practical applications to it.
The campus life becomes kind of hectic because we have classes from 8:30-4:30 on some days

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in their 3rd year. The Central Placement Cell of our college is pretty active and we have had companies like Bain, Deloitte, PwC, Make My Trip, Boston Consulting Group etc. come to campus for placements. My plans after the degree would be to get some experience and then go for a master's.

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The major recruiters are Deloitte, HDFC bank, IDFC Bank, BCG, Paytm, KPMG, EY and many more. (25+ companies) The highest package for 2021-2022 was 15.5 LPA and the average package is 6.7 LPA. For more info, you can visit the Central Placement Cell of JMC on LinkedIn. Every 4 out of 6 students got placed. I might do a master's in Maths or MBA after my 4-year degree. Well, just exploring now.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards. Various companies , both big as well as small visit the campus providing decent placement opportunities like Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y to name a few. Profiles like that of a junior analyst , team member etc were offered.

Remarks:

The ambience, safety and discipline of the college as well as the seniors. A lot of people suggested me JMC in south campus over any other college. I preferred south campus because it less crowded and safer.
