Remarks

The ambience, safety and discipline of the college as well as the seniors. A lot of people suggested me JMC in south campus over any other college. I preferred south campus because itäó»s less crowded and safer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Amazing faculty with academicians of repute. Student to teacher ratio is around 1:10 which is great. The qualifications is usually PhD and exams are great. Internal assessments assess you on your understanding of the course material. Professors are very helpful when it comes to internships and talks about future. Several department events hone our overall development

From fifth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC and McKinsey visit the campus and make several offers. My plans after getting the degree is to go for a postgraduate degree because I want to get into academia since I really enjoy my major.

College Events

Life at campus is vibrant. With over 20 societies or more. Thereäó»s always something to do on campus. Thereäó»s bookshop and a photocopy shop on campus to buy books and notes and itäó»s cheap. There is a canteen which has amazing and varied food choices. JMC is the top choice for sports quota students because of the environment and exposure it provides. The college fest is one of the best fests in Delhi university

A good in-budget college

Placement Experience:

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

If I discuss about my dream college my dream college was lady Shri Ram but I didn't make it as my schools were very low according to the course I wanted. Then I got shortlisted for Jesus and Mary College admission process was very smooth and easy it was one day process within an hour I was free and from the next day onwards my classes started when I first visited to Jesus and Mary college it was very pretty campus. the eligibility of Jesus and Mary is you have to get our 85% in your c u e t and you have to score well in your 12th board exam.
