Likes

The campus is very nice. In terms of architecture, beauty.
The crowd is very nice. Girls go long very well, well behaved.
My course is one of the best course here in Jmc. They provide great knowledge and experience

Dislikes

The new NEP rule by the government is very labour working.
Hygiene is not very maintained. Washrooms are not clean.
Medical room is at the first floor which doesn’t make sense when someone is ill, they can’t go upto first floor to get themselves checked. I had knee injury, how am I supposed to reach the medical room

The college and the faculty members are very good especially for my course which is BA HONS Psychology. The college is the 2nd most best college in India for this course. They provide indeed important knowledge and make our base better for our future.

Internships Opportunities

Internship at this level of education in my course is not offered by the college, especially paid internships but for other courses there are many opportunities for internship which are also paid 5000-10000

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college works day and night regularly for our students benefits and their placement. Jmc provides great placements and plans for future in many courses. It is a little less for my course since the future education plays imp role in my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

In terms of the fee of the college. the course fee is 22k In terms of financial aid, Jmc provides 50% fee refunds to the students who are from low economic backgrounds; for the refund, proper check of salary income certificate is done.

Campus Life

Our college is one of the best du colleges in terms of crowd and infrastructure. Our college also provides great acitivites like sports and yoga. College sports team has great achievements. Social groups, clubs, student portal gives valuable insights

Admission

In Delhi university there are very limited colleges that provide my course and very limited good colleges that provide my course. hence the seats are very limited which therefore creates a lot of competition. Reservation benefits are at its peak. 5% of each category are given reservations which makes a huge opportunity to get in.

Faculty

The class size of my course is very big. There are about 80 students in a class which causes problem to hear what the teacher is saying. Teachers are interactive and they give there 100% to the students. Doubts are clarified when asked. Teachers are supportive. Teachings are done in both ways of offline and online. Offline teaching gives are interactive sessions with the teachers and online mode gives us access to PPTS and notes that are provided by the teachers

Politician scope is the biggest reason for choosing my Ba hons political science course. Exam timing usually in the morning session like 9:30am. If you want to the improving in your own self you can also go te the library for self study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Approach towards course structure is appreciable. Being a social science doesn't only means history and stuff but rather an inter- disciplinary approach towards all subject and this is what this course teaches us. For the real world preparation, we are taught with real world examples and given field level assignments. Adding more of real life ventures can be really beneficial. Exams timing are same as others, at the end of semester.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are competitive and hard to get. Usually multiple offers are limited to few disciplines such as Commerce or economics. While many arts students usually dont sit for placements in that high a number. Highest packages have gone upto around 45LPA, while average package remains somewhere around 12-14 LPA While companies such as BCG,. mckinsey etc do visit campus and as I said- they are more economics and commerce oriented but other discipline students also get placed- just not in these high numbers. Usually around 8-9 GPA is a good score for placemets. The employability is good in the market as the college does have strong Alumni Network and also is a recognised and reputed name in the job market.

Drc and its internship placement

Placement Experience:

Our placement cell provides us every detail about available internships. It also helps us to get every update about upcoming internships. Its my third year but ive seen people from commerce department getting pretty good internships at companies like hdfc, delloite that too with a nice amount of stipend near 8000-1000. JMC life my way

i actually did not apply to any other college , the reason being that I am pursuing ca and needed a govt college to balance my attendance along with it , govt colleges do not put a lot of burden as to attendance. so I applied to du and then created my preference list and got JMC according to it and tbh I do not at all regret coming to JMC. the admission experience was really nice , I was happy to get into DU and that too such a nice college , I think that JMC gets less recognition than it should get. admission process is through giving cuet exam, filling in the preference list and the according to the cutoff we get admission...Read More

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745.
