Likes

I really liked the crowd. It makes a student grow her personality and become a more confident individual.
The societies in DU are indeed the best as they provide us the maximum exposure to college life and we learn a lot from it.
Infrastructure is very nice. The college has a wonderful campus with indoor and outdoor gym and many small places for students to hang out. It’s very pretty as well , the famous pink tree makes it look more beautiful every winter.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I liked Mathematics ever since I was a kid. The faculty here is nice and very well educated. Mostly teachers are holding PhDs in their respective fields which makes them so good.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Accenture, BCG, pwc came to campus and offered a variety of roles from consulting to HR roles as well. Internship opportunities are now improving and it gives decent stipend for the students but however it's not much.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it's a government college , the fees is minimal so that each and every student irrespective of their financial background can come and get and education. There are placements going on in college and many students have secured good packages.

Campus Life

The Annual fest is Montage , which happens generally during February or March. It's a very happening and exciting fests with many prominent speakers and guests. There is football , basketball and many other sports.

Admission

During my time , the procedure was simple through boards entrance exam. we had to meet certain cut off in order get admission into the college. But now it depends on CUET which is conducted by DU. Mostly the application date is same for all colleges of DU but JMC has a separate portal which has to be filled by the students as well.

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

My honest experience at kirorimal college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement support in the 5th semester itself and 3rd semester for internship from the college. Well over 150+ companies visit our college because of the regirous efforts of our placement cell the highest package is 24lpa the average comes out between 5.5 to 6lpa Around 70 to 80 percentage of students get placed and after my graduation i plan to go for a MBA in finance.

My Experience at KMC

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts getting placement opportunites.155 companies came in KMC including big 4 the highest package was 24.8 LPA and average package was 10.8 LPA. There were around 60% students which got placed. I am thinking of puruing master in mathematics after getting my UG degree

The course curriculum is aligned with the today's requirements but it could be better. More practical than theoretical knowledge should be taught and industry level knowledge should be provided. End sems are mainly conducted in dec-jan and may-june months and timings differ shiftwise. Morning times are 9:30 pm to 12:30 pm and afternoon timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Lady Shri Ram College certainly was the college I always wanted to be at but sadly couldn't get admission there. JMC: A LIVELY EXPERIENCE

To get into JMC, one needs to give CUET. After completing the exam, you need to make the preference sheet and if JMC is your 1st preference, then keep it at 1st. Cutoffs varies from course to course. If you have also applied for quotas, or have submitted other categories certificate then cutoffs for you could be less. JMC - The place to be

The admission process was fairly easy. The request desk was very prompt and sorted out issues quickly. The eligibility was the class 12th Board Result. The application form is twofold. First the basic Delhi university admission form and then there's a second form that has to be filled out on the college website. The application fee is minimal and the form opens along with the DU form. There is a reservation for Christian students who need to give an interview additionally.
