Teaching is very good and the faculty members help in resolving each issues of student.
Our college has quite a good environment surrounded by greenery and the best thing is it has a temple.

Brutal and honest

Likes

The encouragement and support that is available for Sports.
Some of the teachers are very good at teaching

Dislikes

Ground where we practice was not very good
Lot of unused land inside the campus where better infrastructure could've come up

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to attend placements in 7th semester. Many companies like Wipro, Aztec, infosys, Mindtree, etc had come. The package used to vary from 250000 to 2400000 per annum. Around 75-85% of the students got placed in reality, but the college claims that 100% placement

I like the college campus the way the built is nice and environment is good .
There are canteens and library facilities which I like

Dislikes

I don't like the work pressure which they give on students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students will become eligible to apply to jobs. The companies that visited to our colleges are Flipkart, amazon, Adobe, Accenture and many more. The highest package was 55 lakh which got offered to our super senior and the average are 3.5 lakh. At least 70% of students will get placement. My plan after graduation is to do job in a good company.

RNSIT - A student's dream fulfilled

Likes

RNSIT excels in academic environment with several VTU ranks
RNSIT has decent infrastructure when compared to other colleges but has all kinds of lab equipments for student's understanding of subjects

Dislikes

RNSIT does have 2 playgrounds but both of it are not available all of the time as they are mostly occupied by the school children
Buildings of RNSIT are quite old and can be seen in places where the building have tiles falling off from the wall

Placement Experience:

RNSIT is known for its placement oppurtunities and also has a very good alumni network for better job offers.Several top companies visit the college each year. The average package for CSE is around 6LPA and the highest is 52LPA as of now. a very good percentage of around 80% students get placed. There also instances where students have multiple job offers in hand. College has great support for further studies and also provides help for foreign Studies of the student.I currently have to decide on what to do after my bachelors.

Teaching staffs and non teaching staffs, they teach well and provide excellent materials to study.
Infrastructure-In love with the infrastructures

Dislikes

Internals-they conduct exams every 20days
Some teachers are partially towards few students

Placement Experience:

Placementsbaee quite good for software based company.We don't get core companies.Highest packages in core is 27LPA(Texas instruments) for IT it's 55Lpa but recent time due to down in market.placement is reduced

The teachers are extremely approachable and well qualified.
A good amount of extra-curricular activities are conducted for the students to showcase their skills.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not well ventilated and the blocks are far from one another.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college follows VTU board in terms of syllabus and curriculum. Cyber Security is an evolving and always relevant field that made me want to pursue this stream. As a student studying in the 2nd batch of cyber security, there is still a long way to go. There are efforts being made to highlight our branch and meeting with the seniors.

My college life

Likes

Our college has great campus and also has great grounds. I love the nature in our campus.
We have large canteen now and the food is very good. The price is also reasonable.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is quiet good , considering the recession in the market. Very good companies have visited our college and almost all the students are placed in atleast one company. Placement season starts at the end of 6th semester and goes on upto 8th semester.

Experience at RNS

Likes

I liked the discipline they maintain among students which shapes one's personality.
Our college has quite a good environment surrounded by greenery and has two grounds for sports as well. Campus is very big and is spacious.

Dislikes

College fests are becoming less and less. Not much entertaining interaction is provided by the college.
After college finishes we are not allowed to stay in campus for long.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As in all VTU affiliated colleges curriculum is same as other colleges for every course. Cse course focuses on giving entry level knowledge into every kind of programming language used these days and every domain in this field.

Likes

The faculties in the institution is well qualified and are student friendly. Approaching teachers for clarifying our doubts is always easier. The libraries are open till late night for students benefit.
the college conducts timely student council meetings to hear the queries and resolve on time. Many extra curricular activities are conducted to enhace us overall

Dislikes

the blocks are placed liltle far away like the civil building is far away from the main admin block.

The campus placements are decent and better. Few students get really placed well like a student last yr got placed for 55 lakh CTC from the mechanical branch. At the end of the its the skills that you develop. Students eventually have to utilize the opportunities.

large vast area with adequate facilities

nearest metro station is more than 4kms away

placement traning starts at 6th sem and we are guided on taking up interviews and technical rounds. apptitute skills and other skills are developed. this year the highest package was about 15lakhs and the average package is about 4 lakhs. since i will be doing my masters placements werent a consideration for me

My placement is not done yet.I am still in 1st year...But heard that placements are damn good...highest package was 56 Lakh per Annum last year...here average package is 25 Lakh per Annum....Overall very good placement team
