MY COLLEGE LIFE AT RNS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BANGALORE

Likes

There are many playground like badminton court , football, cricket etc
The lighting is very good like they have purple accent with rnsit logo that's look cool

Dislikes

Class is still old like they need to upgrade the class , provide better cooling, should use new projectors, using smart board
Still following old syllabus however it need to be changed
There is very less extra activities available

Admission:

I chose this college because I wasn't getting any IITS OR NITS and the second exam I had appeared for was Comedk and that's why I got selected for RNS INSTITUTE of Technology at CSE and ya since it's come in Bangalore and I have to take CSE then it was one of the best choice for me as it comes under top 10 engineering college in Bangalore after RVCE and other Top colleges

I choose this college because it offers the right balance between academic placement is infrastructure and over all learning environment the computer science department as a good reputation experience vacantians strong record of student success in both higher studies and it placements the campus atmosphere is discipline at workers on skill development which alliance with my goals.

"Holistic Journey Through Civil Engineering: Academics, Campus Life, and Career Opportunities"

My overall experience at the college has been very enriching, both academically and personally.
The Civil Engineering department offers a strong foundation in core subjects with supportive faculty who guide us through practical application and project work.
The labs are well equipped and the exposure to software tools like AutoCad, M S Project, Primavera P6, BIM, STAD.Pro, Revit has been very helpful in preparing us for the industry.

Dislikes

In Peak hours there is a traffic congestion in outside the campus. Need to solve these minor things with the support of traffic regulation board.

Admission:

I choose this college because of its strong reputation in civil engineering, experienced faculty, and excellent infrastructure compared to othe institution I applied to. I applied to few reputed engineering colleges, but this college stood out for its balanced acadamic environment and practical learning opportunities. The admission process was smooth and transparent, based on entrence exam, merit and counseling cutoffs. Oveall experiance was great and reinforced my decision to study here.

Likes

Teaching is good. Most of the lectures have doctorate and they are well approachable.
Alot of academic related programs are scheduled. We get alot of insights from seminars and webinars.
Examination and evaluation process is good and quick. The results are published on time.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. Especially washrooms are not up to the mark.
Lack of co curriculum activities for mba course
Lack of scolership facility from college end.

Admission:

I came through pgcet quota. I got 2052 rank. Under my rank i applied to few colleges under which in first round i got presidency college but due to mixed opinion about the college and placement i denied to join. In second round i applied to RNSIT bz of its social media presence.

I gave jer but I couldn't qualify ,I applied for comedk and got around 41k rank and got this college in last round of counselling, for my jee I think if I would have worked hard I could have cracked it

One of the most likable things in my college is that the best campus that the students can roam around happily in the free or leisure time
The another most likable thing in my college is that the conduction of summer internship program by our faculties and our seniors which enhanced our coding and communication skills

Dislikes

Disappointing thing in my college is that again the west campus so that we need to rome around even for small tasks to get perfomed

Admission:

I was allotted to this college through KCET but not compulsorily wished to join this college itself. Later on after joining this college, u felt that i made a good decision by joining this college for the department of Cybersecurity. The admission process is simple and similar to all colleges.

faculty & teaching :most professor are well qualified (Phds from reputed institutes, industry experience). few are exceptionally dedication and approachable outside class. they encourage research projects , internship's,and provide mentorship
curriculum: the syllabus is fairly relevant ,through in some subject through in some subjects its slightly outdated. still add on workshops (ai ,ml, cloud computing, etc.)help bridge the gap
campus life:the cultural fests technical events and inter college competitions are vibrant . clubs (coding and robotics, drama , debate , sports) add good exposure

Dislikes

placement gaps: core branch (mechanical , civil, electrical ) placements were fewer compared to iit and average salary package were modest (3-5)LPA with very few high paying roles.
hostel and mess :food quality was inconsistent , with limited menu variety and strict hostel timings restricted flexibility
uneven faculty :while some professors were excellent others were less engaging and relied heavily on slides or dictated notes. and limited industry exposure among certain facility members

Admission:

Other college i applied to *college A(NIT Surathkal ):applied through JEE mains *college B(BMS college of engineering ):applied through COMEDK. *college C( RV college of engineering) :applied through management quota and COMEDK *MY current college:secured admission through (state-level entrance exam /COMEDK / Management ) Rejection & what went wrong NIT admissionn : missed cutoff in JEE mains by a small margin (needed ~96 %, but i scored ~93 %) FINAL VERDICT ON MY CHOICE: i chose the college because itoffered a balance od affordability, placements and location advantages while i couldn't make it to the absolute top tier instituties due to cutoffs i m satisfied with my decisoin since my current college provides good exposure and opportunities if used wisely

An Honest Review on MY College RNSIT

Likes

College infrastructure, Class room, Advance software training, laboratory of subject related, Canteen Facility is good and offendable price for students, easy acces to the local transportations for all the places with safety in campus environment.

When it came to choosing a college, I had multiple great options in hand,Iapply different Engineering collages aiming for civil engineering. eventually, I choose RNSIT, bangalore. this decision came after lot of comparssion Acadamically, culturally, and long term career wise. Civil in RNSIT is in smallaer size of 60, students and well equiped lab with advanced software in laboratories. strong faculty support, with course corruculaum is regulary updated. choosing this collage is realy worth not in terms of money , its my life changing point to make very good civil enginner. this collge is close to all local transportation, and campous is full of green. So this is the best college in banglore with my knowladge. highlly good. looking back i am satisfied with my choice, the faculties are helpfull, the college emphasized practical skill. and placement traing bring earlyeiar. if you are choosing in and arounfd bangalore, visit the campus, talk to seniors, Administration. my batch is the last batch of the VTU, all my junior batches are Autonomus batches. basic eligibility for most undergraguate program are same as how other colleges have, 12th standerd certificates, CET, COMK, entry exam with all the benifits for reservation and also in our campus out of state students are present. the admission process in my college is well organized, especially CET, COMK and management Quota and also sports quata available. getting college can feel like a big deal, espacially when there are so options and route. for students inside the campus all blocks are esily accecable without having any confussion thogh lots of bloks, one more thing in our camus is there are 3 temples are present inside the college, looking back agin regarding my choice and desisions, i am very satisfied becouse of internship offer and placements oportunities for civil engineering also in RNSIT. i am satisfy of RNSIT, Civil Engineeing.

The college will be nice and moreover the placements are guarantee
The faculties are so friendly and more supporters
Campus is nice and fresh environment I really liked this

Dislikes

I disliked the some of facilities like bike parking
Parking area is less and washroom less this will be matters
Disliked the attendance they want 85% attendance

Admission:

One of the my sister completed MBA in RNSIT She told me that this college is best and the placements are nice and my admission process will be firstly need to see the rank of PGCET after that college will be allot to the student

I applied for RNSIT,MS Ramaiah ,Dayanand Sagar, PS University ,presidency University According to my PGCET ranking, I got this college in my list of good colleges. I choose Rnsit Admission process is very simple. We should write Pgcet exam and we should get a minimum cut-off and you can apply for RSI.
