Which is the better option: CSE at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering or CSE at RNSIT?

Out of these two, Dayanand Sagar is definitely a better choice because it is an autonomous institute. However, you will encounter multiple distractions on the campus and it is advisable to be cognizant and not to neglect studies. Dayanand Sagar has a good reputation in terms of co-curricular activities. One of my friends, who got RNSIT in the first round, waited and later opted for DSCE in 2nd round. Trust me it was one of the life-changing decisions in his life. Rest is up to you, do whatever you feel like.

A good college for your development

Fees and Financial Aid:

For a COMEDK student the fees is nearly 280000 - 300000 per year. So for 4 years it will be around 10-12 lakhs in total. Hostel and Mess fee is around 120000 per year. SSP Scholarship is available for SC/ST/OBC students.

Course fees is 3.1 lakh , this is the fees that COMEDK takes during the admission time , we get our appointment letter after filling this, than they takes around 28k for library and other facilities , hostel is about 1.5 lakh , people who are here from KCET they are paying much less than the people who came from COMEDK, but hostel fees is same for everyone , my friend who came from management quota he payed 7 lakh for per year with hostel fees too he is paying. Management fees is obviosly high ,and every year COMEDK is also increasing there fees , last year it was 2.8 lakh rupees this year it was 3.1 lakh , and hostel fees is also going to increase from next year.

MY JOURNEY AT RNSIT

Rnsit is a second tier college in Banglore with decent academics and placements especially in the field of CSE and ECE . The annual fee varies according to the category of admission. If the student got admission via KCET it is 1,12,000 , COMEDK is 2.5-4lakh, management fee is around 6-10lakh per year with slight increase every year. College also provides many scholorship opportunities

The year wise fees is around 328000. The total fees is around 1312000. I don't have much idea about scholarships they provide. If you come here by KCET which is for native karnataka students the fees will be around 190000

One main thing I had joined this college from COMEDK, so my fee must be less than the management's (around or in between 7 to 10 lakhs). Here, the amount I am paying to the college is in the first year, it might be touch or greater than 3 lakh, and in another year u have to pay 2.8 lakhs. These only cover your course fee, and the hostel fee is between 1 to 1.4 lakhs. I am not sure about that because I am not a hostler, and the other fees like lab, etc., were 27k, which was paid in the first year, that's why I told you that it might reach 3 lakhs my friend informed that he need to pay around 7 to 8 lakhs for management quota these is only covers college course only

I pay 3.70 lakh per year for by btech cse Hostel fee is Abt 1.4lakh per year , hostel is provided by college inside the campus only I'm from general cat and from comedk so there is no scholarship currently I have right now. Some of my friends are from kcet so they get scholarship and their fee is approx 1 lakh as per my knowledge Management quota fee is approx 6 lakh per year There are few scholarship available for students they can take if they belongs to Karnataka.

For many be it we take programs at an hid one source list the total fee for the full duration of 4 years as 12.04 lakh tuition 11.24 lakh + miscellaneous.8 lakh for 2025 26 Another source give a white range betak 1.16 lakh to 30 lakh cross all offered courses For management quota seats one listing show and annual fee of 136000 several engineering branches

I came to this college through KCET councelling where i was been allotted to this college in the 2nd round with a fees structure of 11500. In addition to this, during admission i was asked to pay 25000 as the fees for the college. Going further, i was asked to pay for the books and uniforms which was about 4000. The unacceptable situation in this college in the fees structure is that they asks the students to pay the examination fees of 5000 per semester. Apart from this, there is no other worrt. The anove mentioned fees are compulsory and i dont know about the other categories.

The fees for Karnataka CET quota is around 107000 and that for COMEDK quota is 281000.Along with this,some amount is collected from the college towards vtu exam fees,college fees etc.The management quota fees is 750000 for Computer science and Engineering and varies for other branches.
