Basic review

Likes

The infrastructure is really good here, even the classrooms are wide and we have good labs
The teachers are expertised in their particular fields
We have extra course like this time we have got Coursera for free and have 1 year subscription

Dislikes

I feel we should have more library hours along with classes
Keeping classes till 3 40 is good for completing syllabus, well not have sufficient time for projects

I really feel that few concepts are outdated and we have to be future ready with new technologies and more knowledge related to industries. We have good amount of gaps between the exams .. teaching methods are also good

Likes

Things I like about this college is environment
Calm facilities and their way of teaching and understanding is outstanding
Girls is to boys ratio are 55:45 quite same ratio not a big difference

Dislikes

Things I disliked is the exams .exams happens every monthly so you don't have enough time to prepare for anything else

Placement Experience:

Approximately 85-90% of students got placed and same percent of students get internship some get paid internship and some get unpaid internship. However the average package is around 6 or 6.5 lpa which is quite good

Likes

the campus is relatively large and has good greenery all around.
the faculty is excellent , they're willing to go the extra mile for students.
good amounts of skill based learning , technical events , pep talks etc.

Dislikes

certain parts of the campus feels little old
during lab sessions we have to wear uniforms which is not pleasant .
since our batch is vtu based and not autonomous ( from 2024 onwards the college is fully autonomous) the schedule for exams is very tight.

Placement Experience:

the placements were excellent in the start , then slowed down a little in between due to covid . Now it has picked pace again , this year 2025 we have had excellent placements over 1000+ offers , with average aroun 6-8 lpa. highest so far bein 42lpa by VISA. So placements should not be a problem , they also have an excellent plaement training cell.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in my first year I don't have a detailed idea regarding the placements.The highest package offered this year is around 41.64LPA .I think the eligibility for internships and placements is from sixth and seventh semesters respectively.

Super infrastructure and good facilities
The placements are far better compared to other colleges
The faculty are well experienced and they are skilled

Dislikes

Not good canteen and food and water purifiers
Not good computer systems all laggy and stringy
No good fests and other activities in j this clg

For campus placements the starting sem is from 6th maybee from my knowledge and the companies are bosch , siemens,soundarya and so on en number company are there my plans after getting this degree is work in my bmw

Likes

The campus is very huge and u dont feel like u r locked up in a room for the whole day
Teachers are quite encouraging and are helpful

Dislikes

Nothing that I dislike

Placement Experience:

Placement records are quite good with the highest package being around 41 lakhs this year from the department of AIML The highest overall package is 56 lakhs The average package is around 5-6 lakhs for CSE stream and allied branches

The academic structure follows the VTU syllabus, which is regularly updated. The faculty members in the Civil engg Dept are well- qualified and experienced , with many holding M.tech or PhD degrees.
The civil engg labs are well- equipped with essential innstruments for structural engg, geotechnical engg,Surveying,hydraulics and environmental engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is well structured and covers core civil engineering topics effectively.while it's academically strong and VTU - aligned, it could include more modern tools like BIM and Sustainability . overall, its relevant but can improve in industry alignment.

three internals per sem is quite hectic as they are kept 1 per month. there's also an extra optional exam for students who havent done well in the first two. cybersecurity is an up and coming field. very important
