- Teaching faculty and classes, teachers clear all doubts asked
- Campus is very beautiful with greenary and nice places to sit
Dislikes
- Canteen food and hostel food are not good at all
- Hostel is not worth the fees that they are asking
Placement Experience:
Placements are really good the highest placement in the last batch was 56 lpa which is pretty high infosys Cisco and other companies are tied up with our college though I am going to pursue MBA after this course placements are really good in this college

- Cultural activities keep happening whether its from the department or college level. Theres always something to do and clubs to join.
- The seniors are really friendly and somewhat inclusive according to my experience there's no case of ragging and such.
Dislikes
- We have 3 internals one for each month and then an external. When the internals are conducted there are 2 subjects per day with no holiday between which makes it difficult to score really good in all the subjects evenly.
- The hostel is not worth paying so much for, it doesn't have so many amenities and the warden doesn't take his job seriously. The food is ok though but that's it, they put 4 people in a room and make it cramped.
Placement Experience:
The placements currently, in my college and as per my knowledge other tech colleges are not that great. In my college we receive placement training from 5th semester and are eligible for interviews from the 6th semester since we're under the VTU board, its compulsory for the students to have an internship in the 7th or 8th semester. Some of the companies that have visited our campus are Nokia, LG, Bosch, HashedIn, Adobe, Maersk etc. As of last year in my department (Information Science), there were 305 job offers and 140 internship offers. The average salary per year was 3-4 Lakhs and highest was 14.86 LPA.In the current batch of students there are very less placements as the market is not so good at a very rough estimate I can say that 10% have only been placed till now.
Likes
- The space the college is literally spacious and you can really just wonder about when absolutely jobless.
- Staff! now it might be subjective and frankly speaking there will be atleast one or two dictators but believe me most teachers are very friendly
Dislikes
- If you are expecting fests then leave your expectations before you even enter the college.
- Being under VTU the timetables are very uncertain. You get more holidays between sem exams then you get after sem exam itself.
Placement Experience:
As of 2024 everyone must be aware that there is a recession going on in the industry so don't just judge a college based on placement number. Coming to my college specifically this year the highest package stood at 42 lkhs but it is cracked by an student in AIML department (so don't cry for CSE) and i dont know weather it's oncampus or offcampus. Everyear highest package stands at 50lkh vicinity offered by Adobe and the average placement stands at around 4-6 lakhs. Highest package i mean only 1 person cracks it; 4-6 get around 22-25LPA and rest all are from under 16LPA. So don't glance of just highest number; look for more dense number. One thing i'm sure about is that no college placement record is excellent at this point and in comparision RNSIT is better.

- Some of the teachers are very good at teaching

- Ground where we practice was not very good
- Lot of unused land inside the campus where better infrastructure could've come up
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible to attend placements in 7th semester. Many companies like Wipro, Aztec, infosys, Mindtree, etc had come. The package used to vary from 250000 to 2400000 per annum. Around 75-85% of the students got placed in reality, but the college claims that 100% placement

- I like the college campus the way the built is nice and environment is good .
- There are canteens and library facilities which I like

- I don't like the work pressure which they give on students
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students will become eligible to apply to jobs. The companies that visited to our colleges are Flipkart, amazon, Adobe, Accenture and many more. The highest package was 55 lakh which got offered to our super senior and the average are 3.5 lakh. At least 70% of students will get placement. My plan after graduation is to do job in a good company.

- Hostel has only veg food no non veg food
- Overall a good college but fest have to be more
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from 6 semesters placements are provided based on course. No backlogs should be there for placement again it depends on the company you apply for basic cgpa depends on the company. Placement opportunities are good and you get various companies to apply for including top companies. Package upto 70lpa can be obtained based on performance.

- RNSIT excels in academic environment with several VTU ranks
- RNSIT has decent infrastructure when compared to other colleges but has all kinds of lab equipments for student's understanding of subjects
Dislikes
- RNSIT does have 2 playgrounds but both of it are not available all of the time as they are mostly occupied by the school children
- Buildings of RNSIT are quite old and can be seen in places where the building have tiles falling off from the wall
Placement Experience:
RNSIT is known for its placement oppurtunities and also has a very good alumni network for better job offers.Several top companies visit the college each year. The average package for CSE is around 6LPA and the highest is 52LPA as of now. a very good percentage of around 80% students get placed. There also instances where students have multiple job offers in hand. College has great support for further studies and also provides help for foreign Studies of the student.I currently have to decide on what to do after my bachelors.

- The infrastructure of this college, its very neat and clean and spacious as well

- The fact that it has uniform, a very ugly blue uniform
- The workload by this college, it has 3 internal exams and 3 assignments submission

The main thing I love about this college is the placement opportunities. 95% of the students are placed in the campus last year. The highest package was given to 2 students from ISE of 56LPA package from Adobe company.

- Teaching staffs and non teaching staffs, they teach well and provide excellent materials to study.
- Infrastructure-In love with the infrastructures

- Internals-they conduct exams every 20days
- Some teachers are partially towards few students

Placementsbaee quite good for software based company.We don't get core companies.Highest packages in core is 27LPA(Texas instruments) for IT it's 55Lpa but recent time due to down in market.placement is reduced

From 4th year that is from 7th semester campus placements start in our college. Lot of renowned companies such as Adobe, Texas instruments, Infosys and so many other companies do come to hire us. Maximum student hired ofcourse are from CS and the next come to EC

Which one is better between Bangalore Institute of Technology, BMSIT, RNSIT and Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering for ECE and placement-wise and college life?
Both Bangalore Institute of Technology and Dayanand Sagar College are great colleges and much better than BMSIT and RNSIT. However, they are comparable based on 2 aspects, placements, and college life.
- Placements-wise, BIT is the best among the aforementioned institutes.
- In terms of college life experience, DSC is better than BIT.
While some may say that college life is a subjective matter and varies from person to person, I think the campus itself plays a major role.
