Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 / II PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the optional subjects (40% for SC/ST candidates), with English as one of the languages.
• Candidates must have a valid score/rank in KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main.
• Candidates who have not appeared for any of these exams may write the RNSAT (RNSIT's own entrance test) to be eligible for Management Quota admissions.

Admission Process

• Appear for KCET / COMEDK UGET / JEE Main and obtain a valid rank/score.
• Register on the KEA portal (for KCET) or COMEDK portal (for COMEDK UGET) and participate in the respective counselling process.
• Upon seat allotment, report to RNSIT with all original documents and pay the prescribed fees within the stipulated time.
• For Management Quota: Submit the RNSIT Admission Application Form with all required documents and pay the prescribed fees to receive the Provisional Admission Order.

Scholarships

• SSP Scholarship is the most widely availed scholarship at RNSIT, with students reporting annual benefits of approximately Rs. 18,000 per year for backward class students.
• Students admitted through Management Quota are NOT eligible for SSP or most government scholarships.
• Minority students must first apply on the NSP portal (scholarships.gov.in) and obtain an NSP ID before applying on the SSP portal.
• Registration on the KUTUMBA portal is mandatory for SSP scholarship applications.
• RNSIT Merit Scholarship for Management Quota (Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 50,000) is applicable only for CSE, CSE (AI&ML), CSE (DS), CSE (Cyber Security), CSBS, ECE, and EC (VLSI) branches.
