Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well this is just my 1st semister so according to this , there are lot of unnecessary subject like chemistry, physics, CAED , i don't think will ever use these things in my carrier so its a burden which we have to bear till 1st year , but there is an subject called IDT , which pushes us to innovative something , and that subject encourages us to communicate and make projects. College also encourages us for making projects that can be useful for society and college is also ready to uphold the expensis for that project

Internships Opportunities

4

Students get internship offers from companies in 3rd year , there is a club called placement cell ,the volunteers of that clubs even get direct recommendations from the company HRs and they also gets chance to talk and I teract with them. Which is an amazing thing

Placement Experience

4

From 3rd sem students get eligible for internship offers, from 4th they starts getting placements, highest placement was 50 lpa which an AIML student craked , ece placements are quite decent in this college , but don't expect much from other core branches

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees is 3.1 lakh , this is the fees that COMEDK takes during the admission time , we get our appointment letter after filling this, than they takes around 28k for library and other facilities , hostel is about 1.5 lakh , people who are here from KCET they are paying much less than the people who came from COMEDK, but hostel fees is same for everyone , my friend who came from management quota he payed 7 lakh for per year with hostel fees too he is paying. Management fees is obviosly high ,and every year COMEDK is also increasing there fees , last year it was 2.8 lakh rupees this year it was 3.1 lakh , and hostel fees is also going to increase from next year.

Campus Life

4

Recently we had an fest called parichay , lot of students participated in it , there was so much variety in it, u can participate in anything like singing , dancing , drawing ,games , sports and many more we even had mukbang challenges , 1 sports fest agone also held a few days after entering the college , overall campus life is very much fun , but there are restrictions too, like after 11pm hostel students can't roam in college . After 6 pm u can't go to the college groud , but overall it's a good experience , the only that bad is the building design which is same for every building which modt of the students don't like

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is pretty good , in case of food , it changes every 3 months, and it tastes good, people who cook are from north , so u will get a taste of North in food , most of the students like the food , but its repetitive, which is not good , it gets annoying after a certain time

Admission

I choosed this college because it was in my rank range , i scored 28118 rank in COMEDK , this was in my range , I got it in 3rd round , i had other options too , but the reason choosed RNSIT was because it is and autonomous college , which is really a good thing for scoring good CGPA , and it's campus size was really large , 180 acres campus , as compared to any other college in banglore is the largest and it's placement average was better than most of the COMEDK colleges , you have to give KCET , or COMEDK to get admission in this college , you can also come from management quota.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties are good , but few of them are bad , they are old and it feels like even they are not interested in teaching us , we can't connect to them , they speak so slow , it gets hard to understand them , but most of the faculties are very good , in internals they give good marks atleast they try , not that much issue in scoring good marks . Internals exams are much easy , questions come only from the question bank which is the best part....

Night Life

4

We cant go out in college after 11 pm , girls are packed inside girls hostel after 7.30 they can't go out , we boys can roam till 11 pm after that we have to be inside too. The park part of the college looks very beautifull in night with lights on.

Other Applied Colleges

CMR Institute of Technology - [CMRIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

CMRIT is not that much good because of it's unusual placements and it's campus size is very small, and it's not An autonomous college , RNSIT was much better in all these options and it's placements were much better than CMRIT

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
