Likes

Campus life and other fun moments are really amazing for students
Our college has a great number of placements which was helpful for us and also conducted many interships.
The colleges really having a good teaching faculty they are very much talented experienced.

Dislikes

Water facility was much bad and had to suffer many dangerous cases as a result.
Poor hostle facitilites and mess food is worst of all.
Occasions are very low . Canceling out some occasions for useless reasons.

The infrastructure of the college is top notch it include everything. You have Badminton courts, Basketball court, Football court, volleyball court,indoor games,gym facilities, walkways, cricket ground canteen facility, and more
The campus is engaging with a friendly seniors. The faculties at fisat are very experienced teachers and their classes are very engaging Also doubt clearing sessions are conducted and special care is given to those who finds thier studies difficult.
As said about the facilities the classrooms are also well equipped with basic needs and all the classrooms are smart classrooms. The laboratories are well equipped with the needed things. Priority is also given to nature as campus is full of trees .

Dislikes

There is nothing here that we dislike exept there is attendance every hour as it is in every other colleges yet it will grow on you once you started studying here.
The college as said it is situated in Ernakulam yet it is not situated in city . The college is little bit to interiors of the city but it is easily accessible through college buses or private buses and auto rickshaws

Placement Experience:

As I am studies are going on I don't know much about the placement. By hearing it from the seniors i can say that the placement are very good compare to other colleges that every student who have reasonable score can get placements in really good companies the company that comes to FISAT for placement are available in the official website of FISAT . The average placement offer at fista 4L per annum and above .

FISAT has a very good placement status. It ranks among top 6 engineering colleges in Kerala. All the trainings provided is very effective and worthy. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements will be placed.
We have expert facilities like fablab and digital library. Our main Library is so huge and it's the best
Our college has a good sports history. We have all the sports team such as football,badminton,cricket,basket ball and volleyball

Dislikes

As it is a private college, u will not be independent in your decisions.
Attendances are mandatory and they will include our parents in all the Silly things
We lack faculties who gives exposure more than bookish learning. Most of the teachers have a mentality only to score marks

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts from 7th semester. FISAT holds a very good placement status. It ranks among the top 6 colleges in Kerala. There are lots of companies coming which includes IBM,TCS, Schneider electric, cognizant, Accenture,tata elexsi,ey and many more. Offers ranges from 4 to 15 lpa. Companies like cadence offers 15 lpa which is the highest paid job offer. Almost 90 percent of the eligible students will get placed from the campus itself and we will get a lot of opportunities from college itself even after graduation.

Give importance to academic performance, provide so many addon courses, placement opportunities...this college is an excellent choice for every students seeing a bright future
Not only in academics but also this college has so many cultural events as well...inter College fest bharatham is very famous for its versatility..gave students so much opportunities in improving there cultural and technical skills

Dislikes

I don't have dislikes to gave....thought of increasing the no of batches .. already there is2 batches for every branch...but if it is increases many more students will get the opportunity to study in this excellent college

Placement Experience:

Campus placement start from seventh semester...our College is visited by a lot of companies and also most of our students eilll get placed Oru college provide placement training in a very good way..they teach us how to prepare for placements to get placed....that finds very attractive to me... By percentage around 65 percentage of students will get placed in my college from most of the branches and very importantly from computer engineering branches

Fisat you dreamt collage as well as your nightmare

Likes

The campus is very huge and it's infrastructure is quite good
Campus Life is great. You will be busy all through you journey
Faculty department is well educated and will respond to our doubts and queries regardless of time

Dislikes

There is no mosques nearby. Eee have to go to angamaly every Friday which is 7 km away
Events could have been more better. Not saying that it's too bad

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good in FISAT when compared to other self finance collages in kerala. We will be eligible for placement after the 6th sem Many multinational and international companies like TCS,BOSCH, SCHINDLER,FEDRAL BANK,COGNIZANT,IBM ... Is the company that have visited here. Highest is 17.6 lap and average is 7lpa 100% placement assistance are being provided

FISAT Collage

Likes

I like the canteen.it has variety of foods like fried rice,alfam and is cheap
Collage has a good experienced faculty who teaches well
Collage has a good ground. A lage cricket ground and a football ground

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground collage doesn't promote sports very well
Campus infrastructure is average. I wont say its bad but not really good
It is very strict. We are not getting enough freedom

Placement Experience:

We are having a good campus placement.we are offered with an average of 4.5 lakhs per annum. We are eligible from 6th semester for campus placements.infosys, Accenture,wipro,tcs are major companies came for placements

Likes

good infrastructure well established building and classrooms
educated teachers and commited students and other staffs
good environment to study and provide good placements

Dislikes

sometimes its too strict compared to other colleges
canteen is small compared to the amount of students
the playground is sent to lease cannot be completly utilised by the students

Placement Experience:

the placement usually starts from sem 7,the are wide varieties of big companies regulalry visiting our campus for pplacements. the average package starts from 4.5-6 lakhs while the highest is 9 lakhs almost all eleigible students get placed in the computer scienec department

Likes

freedom to do anything like extra cultural activities
there are holidays for celebrations like onam,christmas
there is a good campus and the library got pretty good books

Dislikes

exams for 50 mark are 1.5 hr that is not enough to finish all questions
less girls and more boys the ratio should be equal
classes are pacey and exam are more difficult for most students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to know more about technology so I choose this. It has given me confidence and more information for the future. The curriculum can be improved by adding new topics and should add physical education. 1.5 hrs for an internal exam is difficult and hard.

Beyond the Books

Likes

A very good placement cell that brings in many job opportunities.
A very spacious and vast campus to hangout in the free time.
Good library that has both academical and non-academical books.

Dislikes

Food from the canteen can be improved a bit.
The college should offer more sources of enjoyment.
Sometimes,the college rules seem to be a bit strict.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are very good in my college.From 7th semester,students become eligible for placements.Companies like IBM,TCS,CTS,UST etc. visit the campus.Average package is 4-5 LPA and highest package is 12 LPA or more.A high percentage of students get placed every year.

MY FISAT COLLEGE

Likes

I like the campus enviornment and the faculty members of the college
I like the central library that avails all kinds of books. The infrastructure is also well developed.
A lot of fest and programs and conducted by different clubs that is really good for the students.

Dislikes

I dislike the basketball ground and the office faculty
I don't like the criteria for the placement.
I also dislike the freedom provided for the students.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 the students start getting placed in various companies. Infosys,Wipro, Asian paints etc comes for the recruitment. They give an average package of 30000. The percentage of getting placed is increasing slowly.

A REVIEW ON FISAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Likes

Friends and friendly environment amd good vibe
Hostel food is good compared to other colleges
Neat and clean surroundings. Nature friendly

Dislikes

Hostel timing is different for girls and boys hostels. Girls hostel is strict.
Occasions are very low . Canceling out some occasions for useless reasons.

Placement Experience:

From s7 onwards placements are started. Placement trainings are given from s5 onwards. Students with 6cgpa and above can apply for the placements. Last year 68% was the placement percentage for the civil dept.

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is affiliated under the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The institute is a private, self financing engineering college offering engineering and management programs. Admission is done on the basis of various accepted exams like KEAM, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, GATE and JEE Main.

Admission Requirements

A student should at least have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exams (for B.Tech) and 60% in graduation (for M.Tech).
The application fee ranges from INR 350 to INR 750 based on the course of your choice.
For MBA students after their selection through CAT scores will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For MCA, students must have Mathematics in their Bachelor’s Degree.
Students who secure ranks up to 3000 are admitted through Government Quota.
