Friends and friendly environment amd good vibe
Hostel food is good compared to other colleges
Neat and clean surroundings. Nature friendly

Dislikes

Hostel timing is different for girls and boys hostels. Girls hostel is strict.
Occasions are very low . Canceling out some occasions for useless reasons.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum teach the basics of civil engineering and how it can be applied to the real life . Only theory based is known , real world applications is not known for the students. Overall nice.

From s7 onwards placements are started. Placement trainings are given from s5 onwards. Students with 6cgpa and above can apply for the placements. Last year 68% was the placement percentage for the civil dept.

Campus Life

There are social organizations such as NSS , IEEE , NCC , ASME , ASCE etc. ASCE is the dept organization. Other than this there are sports club including football, basketball, volleyball , cricket etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rent is 10500 and the mess fees is 145 per day. Hostel timings are strict , only till 6pm for girls but till 9 for boys. Always need permissions and letters to go out. Hostel food is good compared to other colleges.

Admission

Among the other management colleges this college is one of the best . Better placements than other colleges with good packages. Renowned companies are coming for placements. Admission process includes both management and govt seats.

Faculty

Civil dept faculties are friendly and they'll help us for anything. For each sem there are 8 sub including 2 lab exams. Total marks is out of 150-50 is internal and 100 is external. 75 is the pass mark- 35 for internal and 40 for external exams. The paper valuation is done under KTU .

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

I applied this collage mainly because it was not far to my home. So i can be the dayscholar. If we want to take admission in this collage we should apply for keam and get a good rank.
