Likes

Campus life and other fun moments are really amazing for students
Our college has a great number of placements which was helpful for us and also conducted many interships.
The colleges really having a good teaching faculty they are very much talented experienced.

Dislikes

Water facility was much bad and had to suffer many dangerous cases as a result.
Poor hostle facitilites and mess food is worst of all.
Occasions are very low . Canceling out some occasions for useless reasons.

Likes

Environment is very good and the lectures are vere supportive and good

Dislikes

The college is situated more into village so access to city is bit difficult

Placement Experience:

The palcemets are vey good as they offers an average 4 LPA and the main it gaints like tsc, CTS hire every year. Also many no of companies are recruiting and have a wide choise of companies . I am also a campus placed student with a 7 LPA at dubai

Review about FISAT

Likes

Most importantly the college infrastructure is very well maintained with every facilities for the students
The teachers and all other faculties are well education and provides a avery good teaching method that helps to better our education
The college life had helped me to improve my networking skills and also it helped me a lot to develop my interpersonal skills

Dislikes

The things i disliked is the placement opportunities that had come across. Majority of the company that visited are based on sales
The behavior of some faculties towards the students are really bad
The college is located on a remote area where there is less transportation facilities

There are placement in the college which starts on the last year. There are tremendous opportunity. sesvral IT as well as Sales companies arrives. If you are good at your skill you will be placed. Around half of the students got placed this year but the majority was placed on the sales areas

My journey in FISAT

Likes

The canteen and juice counter facilities
The classroom and my classmates were very good.
Our one and only bienalle, 'Bharatham' which is a big college fest which lasts for 2-3 days.

Dislikes

The pricing system in canteens. Half biriyani was Rs 35 when i was in my 1st semester. But it increased to Rs 60 when I was in my 6th semester. Not just this. Many other food item's price increased ridiculously and quantity decreased.
Hostel food. The quality was too bad. There has been an incident when almost 80% people of our hostel fell ill and still they took an action only after 2 days or more, because they refused to accept that it was the hostel mess's food responsible.
Hostel safety. We have come across a zoo of animals from snakes, raccoons, civet cats,cats, bus, etc at our hostel. Above the false ceiling which may fall anytime, we can always hear civet cats crawling around. We are in constant fear of it falling.

Placement Experience:

Placements were good, till 2023 pass out batch. But our batch didn't get much companies coming in our campus. Mass recruiting companies like TCS who used to come 5th or 6th sem started coming by 7th and 8th sems. Even the eligibility criteria for certain companies who used to allow certain number of backlogs and no cgpa cut off/ cgpa cut off above 6 started coming with their eligibility criteria being no backlogs and cgpa above 7 or 8. It was really very competitive. Even the circuit branches required to have high knowledge in coding languages. And mostly the companies which came were those with the positions for either sales or call centre agents.

The Memory Place

Likes

The Campus infrastructure was very well build and with greeneries.
The canteen food is very tasty and kept cleaned
The teachers are very friendly and helpful

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus was prepared on the basis of what we need in future. And these syllabus are divided into modules which make the studying easy and there were many exam conducted based on the syllabus and difficulty levels

FISAT: THINGS YOU MIGHT KNOW OR YOU MIGHT NOT.

Likes

The college ambience is great, For a person who aims to focus on studies with utmost concentration, this college is best option.
The library facilities are great, they allow you to have an access over all kind of books, even if something is not available, they will make it available within one or two weeks if requested.
The faculties are good, the hostel is clean. Hygiene is maintained very well. Promotes extra curriculars very well irrespective of gender.

Dislikes

Hostel wardens , hostel rules, we have to get inside the hostel within 6 pm , rules are a bit different for boys hostel.
Some of the faculties are very bad, they just don't know how to do the teaching.
Roll call system in Hostel. Gender inequality (sometimes).

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in fisat, 80-90 percentage is the placement percentage. Although the recession this year affected the placements this year, but still most of the companies approached fisat and more than half of the stduents in 24 passout batch have atleast one placement in their hand.

Very good carriculum helps us to understand the concept and apply it properly Application oriented teaching The semster duration is always less thats a demerit But overall the carricullum is good There will 4 internals and 2 semster exam in an academic year

An overview on FISAT

Likes

Very good infrastructure and facilities are available at FISAT.
Placements at FISAT are good. They have many top companies selecting students for the job.
Faculties and staffs at FISAT are always available and helpful.

Dislikes

FISAT is located very distant from the city and hence vehicles to college are less.
The college canteen is comparatively smaller and crowded.
The college auditorium is not very good as they don't have air conditioning.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements at federal institute of science and technology are very good as many great companies come here for placements. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards. Some of the companies that visited are google, vipro etc. The highest placement is around 22lakh per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs per annum. Almost 90% of the students get good placements.

Clear view on fisat

Likes

The college provides good and calm environment for the students by leaving a good free space
The college has one of the best library facility in the state which helps the students to explore more .
The college also supports and encourages extracurricular activities

Dislikes

The hostel timings are a bit tight.you have to enter the hostel before 8.30
The college is situated in a isolated area away from the major cities and towns
The college canteen is very small and unable to accomodate the large crowd during lunch hours

Placement Experience:

Fisat has one of the best placement stats in private colleges in Kerala.Students can sit for placements from the 3rd year itself.The college also has one of the best placement training cell who gives their best to provide the best opportunities for the students.The college has a highest package of 17.07lack per annum and an average package of 5.18 lack per annum which is surely an embracing stat.Most students having a good CGPA and skillset are placed in major IT companies

Some teachers are not good at all but some only
Lack of travel facilities it's difficult

Overall: Very good college and experienced faculty members" " Faculties are always ready for help of the students" "A creek passing through the campus has been beautifully diverted through the buildings" Some say that the college has a peaceful working environment for teachers, as a result of faculty retention. Others say that the college has a good placement percentage compared to other colleges.

Campus Life and programs conducting here is good
Placement and infrastructure is also good.
Faculty and college is nice and just froenlyy

Hostel restrictions is ok but sometimes its not good
There is a time restriction in Library is not good
Series test good but after that there is a pta meeting

S5-S6 students eligible for campus placement Tcs is the main company and here a lot of core companies visited last year Our highest package is 18 lakh/annum The average package is 8-9 lakh 80 % of students got placement

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is affiliated under the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The institute is a private, self financing engineering college offering engineering and management programs. Admission is done on the basis of various accepted exams like KEAM, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, GATE and JEE Main.

Admission Requirements

A student should at least have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exams (for B.Tech) and 60% in graduation (for M.Tech).
The application fee ranges from INR 350 to INR 750 based on the course of your choice.
For MBA students after their selection through CAT scores will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For MCA, students must have Mathematics in their Bachelor’s Degree.
Students who secure ranks up to 3000 are admitted through Government Quota.
