Likes

Campus life and other fun moments are really amazing for students
Our college has a great number of placements which was helpful for us and also conducted many interships.
The colleges really having a good teaching faculty they are very much talented experienced.

Dislikes

Water facility was much bad and had to suffer many dangerous cases as a result.
Poor hostle facitilites and mess food is worst of all.
Occasions are very low . Canceling out some occasions for useless reasons.

My opinion on fisat

Likes

Faculties are very good, they have years of experience and most of them knows to teach very well
The college and its premises are regularly cleaned and maintained very well and neatly
The college promotes extracurricular activity like sports very much

Dislikes

The college have only one lift which will always be overload and students will have to climb till the forth floor
The collage campus feels like small compared to other campuses
If we didnt attend any lecture a notification will be sent to our parents that we are absent

Placement Experience:

The placement statitics of fisat os very high with an average package of 517000 per year and a highest package touching more than 1700000 per year The placemnt procedures usually starts from 7th semester but our college provides placement training from 3rd semester onwards Our college have a very good placement cell and therefore so many top tier and core companies visits our campus According to my knowledge Almost all students with no backlogs are able to secure a good job via placement My plan is also to get a good job via placement with a decent salary

Why you should join Fisat

Likes

Love the overall area of the college, the place where it is set etc.
Good canteen and they also have a separate juice corner - a small stall kind of area where you get good refreshments
Good ground to play sports like football and cricket

Dislikes

No restaurants or cafes nearby, need to walk 1km
Surroundings gets a bit flooded when raining
Food of canteen is good but not much spacious,kinda crowded

Placement Experience:

My college has one of the best placements in my state. In 2022, they had the most placements and many number of students got placed with good salary. My college was also one of the 7 colleges in Kerala to be selected by TCS for placement. Overall I think my college has got good placement status.

Review about FISAT

Likes

Faculties are very good and give proper notes compared to other collages
Very good, clean, and peaceful surrounding, premises are cleaned regularly
Several events, workshops and culturals are held

Dislikes

The football ground is small and is under construction till now, it will open in like 2months
We cant bunk the classes because our parents will get message if we donot attend a class
We should always wear id card and if we forget we will not get attendence

Placement Experience:

Our college is giving placement training from 3rd semester onwards however the placement procedure starts only from 7th semester. Our college have a very good placement cell a lot of core companies visit our college and a lot of offers are made If you cleares all backlogs when you are sitting for placement mostly you will get an offer The average package of our college in last year was 5.17 lakhs per annum with highest of 17+ lakhs per annum I am also looking to get placed in a good company Or otherwise choose to do mtech

Personal opinion on federal institute of science and technology

Likes

The campus is very neat and clean, it is situated in a peaceful and scenic place
The infrastructure is very good, the college itself looks like an old palace and is made in a perfect symmetry
The placement statitics of the college is high compared to other colleges with an average package of 5.17 lakhs per annum

Dislikes

The faculties are strict compared to other colleges(but it is a benifit for us, it helps us to score more)
The campus is situated far away from angamaly (like about 8kms away)
The quality of food from the hostel mess will be decreasing day by day(like every hostel)

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 onwards placement procedure starts But we students get placement training from semester 3 onwards A lot of companies visits our college Infact fisat is one of the private college with the highest average salary package at 5.17 lakhs per annum with highest 17 lakh per annum Almost 95 percentage students with no present backlogs gets placed during the placement process I also wish to get placed in a company with a decent package

The Campus is ambient and the vibe is 100 percent.
The teaching quality in fisat is excellent and the faculties are good and will support you throughout the course

Dislikes

The mess food should be improved for vegans

Placement Experience:

Around 90 percent of the students are getting placed after the course.Top recruiters are Wipro,TCS, Sutherland, Cognizant, Telk.You will be supported by placement cell officers in the college and other faculties

Review About Federal Institute of Science And Technology

Likes

Good ambience and atmosphere very good teachers.
Encouragement in sports and extra curricular activities.
Very good carrier guiedence and placement training classes.

Dislikes

Cant go out from college during college hours.
High demand and competetion for admission.
College location is bit inward public transportation facilities are limitted.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5th/6th sem.Wipro Infosys TCS etc... are most common companies.Many students get placed.Getting a good Placement with good package is all students dream.Average sallary package is more than 3.5lakhs.

College provide a good placement opportunity for the student. Most of the students get placed at many companies at the end of seventh semester even with one or two backlogs. But it is good if we clear the backlogs by end of seventh semester

Road accessibility is very poor since need to travel a lot to reach to the cities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I have taken is computer science and engineering with designs specialised. It's really amazing course which much placement offers. Maturity of the students who have taken this course is placed in good companies with much higher package.

Our college provides us with campus placement and they are really good at giving opportunities to students as they get exposure to many companies and firms. Many top companies and firms come with job offers for us students and the college has a really good placement cell to prepare us for the interview.

A short story on my campus life.

Likes

Our college has a large and spacious ground for students to play whichever games they want.
Our college has variety of laboratory, where students can improve their skills.
Our college has a great number of placements which was helpful for us and also conducted many interships.

Dislikes

We had mental pressure from our faculty, which was a downfall.

Placement Experience:

Our college has many placement opportunities and I had got through to many companies but had no chance of attaining one but my friends got placed and my class has above 75% placement offered. Actually, for computer science, there are more than 50 placement opportunities.

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is affiliated under the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The institute is a private, self financing engineering college offering engineering and management programs. Admission is done on the basis of various accepted exams like KEAM, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, GATE and JEE Main.

Admission Requirements

A student should at least have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exams (for B.Tech) and 60% in graduation (for M.Tech).
The application fee ranges from INR 350 to INR 750 based on the course of your choice.
For MBA students after their selection through CAT scores will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For MCA, students must have Mathematics in their Bachelor’s Degree.
Students who secure ranks up to 3000 are admitted through Government Quota.
