Hey there it is very obvious that a student whose family income is less than 1 lacs they have not pay tution fee as other pay people having family income between 1 and 5 lacs they pay only one third of the tution fee and above 5 five lacs pays full tution fee i.e 62500 approx. There are many scholarship available for students studying in the college. Like reliance, ffe ,nsp and many more . Fee structure for the sc st category is as same as the below 1 lacs one .

Course Curriculum Overview

This curriculum has very important elements missing i.e the the demands in industry we al know there are may programming languages available in the market and they have also better environment and keywords that will increase the effectiveness and reduce time and energy but they are following the c program

We have a student teacher ratio of 1:20. As like most of the colleges some teachers will be very approachable and supportive. In my department I love teachers named Sreevidhya, beenu riju, sundharajan,Anil Johny etc.. they are very talented and provides us with so many opportunities. They are the best faculties. There are some other facilities like Raji p whom I don't like because they don't even don't treat children in a good way. There will be 6 subjects in the first 6 semesters and 4 subjects in next 2 semesters. We need a 40 percent marks to pass the exam. The difficulty level is medium. Interested students can also pursue minor and honours degree. Course curriculum for the new scheme is very relevant compared to the older one.

Placement Experience

Campus placements starts from 7th semester. FISAT holds a very good placement status. It ranks among the top 6 colleges in Kerala. There are lots of companies coming which includes IBM,TCS, Schneider electric, cognizant, Accenture, tata elexsi,ey and many more. Offers ranges from 4 to 15 lpa. Companies like cadence offers 15 lpa which is the highest paid job offer. Almost 90 percent of the eligible students will get placed from the campus itself and we will get a lot of opportunities from college itself even after graduation.

The faculty to student ratio is different for different branches. The exam structure is based of internals which consist of 40 marks inlcuding midsemes of 20 marks and assignment, quiz and attendane consisting of rest 20 marks and end sems consisting of 60 marks. The exam struture i exlained is same for every semseter. Faculties are a bit strict aout studies but it also varies from branch to branch.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements Various companies like TCS, DELLIOTE, L&T, TATA POWER, TATA ELXSI, CISCO, ASIAN PAINTS, JK PAPER, ACCENTURE, KFINTECH AND many more have offered 576 jobs in the academic year 2023-24 with highest paxkage of 42 LPA. Faculty

Faculty to student ratio faculty to student ratio is ok ok type but for other departments the ratio is quite good. The faculty and student relation is also good they are helpful and approachable they clear doubts anytime you approach them in my brach all are best faculties they are very dedicated for teaching. I personally like all the faculties. There are 2 exams in 1 semester mid term and end term and the difficulty level is quite easy to moderate sometime little tough. very less students fail to clear 4-5 students in some particular subjects. I think the course curriculum is quite relevant i am not saying that full relevant but 80-90% relevant .

Course Curriculum Overview

I dont have the specific reason to be influenced by this curriculum but this curriculum surely prepare for real world application we get real time projects in lab from 2nd year which makes us familiar with the real world application . I think for my branch i think the visualization should be there to understand the subject or course in the class. The frequency of the exam is very often after 1 month we have class test then mid term in the second month and then after that we have regular classes for 2 month then after that for 1 week we have lab exams and viva then project submission then end term examination.

So for my department there is a fest called Mayukh which is great and many more fest happened for different department. There is a huge variety of books present in library and our college have different library for different department. And there are many clubs and group present here for every stream and they are doing great job.

Course Curriculum Overview

The one thing that i like the most in the curriculum is that they support the overall development of a student apart from studies, it is compulsory to enroll into an activity for example sports, public speaking, dance, swimming etc. And i heard about the placement of my course which is very great so i choose it.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good and the faculty are eager to teach, there can be sometimes communication gaps becasue most of the facutly knows english are their fluency can be a little hard to understand. The eie deparment facutly all are pretty chilll and good to work with. The lab assistant are also pretty fun and helping in lab exams. I think all of the faculty tries their best to teach students but its upto you if u want to learn or not. There are mid sem , minor test , and end sem examinations an around 5/6 students get back in exams out of 100 students. Exams are pretty easy to clear because there are relative grading system here.Changing your branch is pretty easy if you put effort into it just for 1/2 weeks.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty chill. Being on northeast side there is reservation for assam students here so the often make groups here and talk in their native language there can be sometimes inter state fights but if you are not the fighting types then everyting will be fine. The libariy is largest digital in india so dont worry about books etc. There are also fest going on a club activies going on everytime in college and you can take part in clubs according to ur interest. the sport facilitis are pretty good here you get every sport facility here even long tennis. But being a slow city there are less major clubs or social cafes etc to chill out outside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching method is similar to other college including the iits. The curriculum prepares pretty well as they simultaneously give examples of different companies where the education is actually used and how. The frequency of exam is actually something we can talk once the exam period start the no of assignments and exam don't stop, during mid Sems everyday there is a exam and sometimes 2 exams in a single day and during the end Sema we barely get 1 day gap to revise for the whole Sem's course. And the exam is taken through e-pad which is little different from other conventional methods such as pen paper exam.

Campus Life

There are 2 major feats in the college one is revels the annual frat which is held around the month of March ending or April starting and the other one is tech tatva which is held around October. The library has a wide range of books and also you can get online access to the library portal. Many clubs are there majorly divided within 2 categories the technical and non technical, excepts those few student run organisations are also there. Around a cumulative of 100+ clubs are there. And they involve quite frequently

Talking about my campus yes it is easy to make many friends in colleges and I had many of them although for some time but I have made some special friends here whom I want to keep in my life. Socially also this college is very positive and friendly nature everywhere you go. Clubs are also very engaging and if someone has any sort of talent and wnats to take it out to the real world then clubs are the best go-to place here.

Faculty

No doubt there are faculty members who are very strict and don't talk much about anything but also there are some who are always ready to provide mentorship and refer projects. All the faculties have minimum PhD level of education and yes they are supportive and helpful except a few.

Course Curriculum Overview

E&I branch was established recently so the student size is less compared to other branches. But the professors are one of the best among all branches. The course curriculum makes you well equipped with all the knowledge and skills required during placements. There are lots of hiring being done from this branch in core companies. However more facilities need to be introduced for improving the real world applications

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. A lot of reputed companies like Samsung, AWS, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, L&T, Cisco, Mahindra, ONGC visit for recruitment. CSE branch has the highest average package of about 18lpa. Highest package for the college is more than 50lpa. Percentage of students placed vary from branch to branch. For E&I it's more than 90%

Faculties and technological provisions are simply regular. Sports and extracurricular activities is little in shape but lot of improvement needed . One page for college students only for social media.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have known faculty in department so i was suggested the course. I was well prepared for real world applications or academic pursuits. Be more practical in teaching. Frequency and timing of exams are very bad in university they delay results and exam over 6 months.

Ques. Which is better: Electronics and Instrumentation in BITS Pilani or Computer Science in BITS Goa or Hyderabad? Why?

● Top Answer By Divya Saraf on 05 Aug 23

Ans. The decision should be completely based on your interests. It is always better to choose a course that has ample opportunities; otherwise, you will end up jobless. You have to maintain a good CGPA to get a placement here since the competition level is very high. BITS Pilani is comparatively better at academics and placement support than BITS, Goa, or Hyderabad. When it comes to the selection of the course, Electronics and Instrumentation are a bit difficult for scoring a good CGPA. After this course, you are open to both CSE and EEE fields for your higher studies (based on the electives you have selected). CSE is comparatively better, which opens up  high opportunities and BITS across India provides placement support for students with good CGPA So, choose wisely based on your interests.Read more

Ques. What is the difference between EEE, EnI and ECE at BITS, Pilani?

● Top Answer By Prateek Sharma on 05 Aug 23

Ans. BITS Pilani does not offer an Electronics and Communication Engineering Program. When comes to ENL and EEE, there are some key points you should keep in mind as an applicant, which are listed below Opportunities – In the current scenario, EEE opens up more opportunities than ENL. For Instance, the Indian Engineering Examination is only applicable to students from ECE and EEE Campus – BITS Pilani is far better than BITS Hyderabad as they have well-equipped lab and infrastructure Placement – The three batches can sit for the placement, but the companies give more weight to Communication and Digital Signal Processing So, it is better to choose EEE than ENL at BITS Pilani.Read more

Ques. How good are the placements and packages for electronics and instrumentation in BITS Pilani?

● Top Answer By Prakash Singh on 14 May 24

Ans. When it comes to the BITS Pilani campus, the scope of getting placed at top companies is huge. First, let me tell you about the placement process that is followed by BITS Pilani.  The placements are divided into two semesters for all three campuses. You will have to choose which semester you want to sit for placements by the end of the third year. Normally, students who sit for the first semester have a CGPA above 8 and those who sit for the second semester have a CGPA in the range of 6 to 8.  Mostly, those who have less than 8 CGPA do not get to sit for placements in the first semester. The job offers from the recruiters are good. About 15-20 companies visit the college for both semesters.  However, your opportunities are better if you get to sit for the first semester. So, try to maintain a CGPA above 8.Read more

Ques. How many marks are required to get an admission in NIT Warangal CSE, IT or in the electronics branch?

● Top Answer By Shivani Singh on 19 Aug 23

Ans. To get admission into NITW, you need to secure a certain rank in the JEE Mains exam.  These are the closing ranks for round 6 of JoSAA counseling to get admission into these branches at NIT Warangal, for 2023: Course Quota  Seat-Type Gender Closing Rank CSE HS Open Gender-neutral 3115 CSE OS Open Gender-neutral 2413 ECE HS Open Gender-neutral 6516 ECE OS Open Gender-neutral 5814 ECE (VLSI) HS Open Gender-neutral 7103 ECE (VLSI) OS Open Gender-neutral 7047 EEE HS Open Gender-neutral 11388 EEE OS Open Gender-neutral 9265 Out of the branches mentioned by you, NIT Warangal does not provide B.Tech IT. You can also check the 2023-2024 cutoffs of other branches and categories for NITW However, I would like to tell highlight a few things- Electronics and Electrical value your ability to remember random figures rather than polishing your technical knowledge.  The syllabus and question paper for both these courses is below par at NIT Warangal. The syllabus for them is outdated. Placements are high at NITW, but software profiles are mostly offered.  Most students start coding from their pre-final year because of low placement chances in the core companies of other disciplines.  The college infrastructure and hostel facilities may disappoint you.  Government colleges other than IIT D, B, and K are lagging behind in reality. They have subpar infrastructure and their administration is old and rigid. They offer no extra support and opportunities to their students. All of this combined with the rigorous academic schedule causes plenty of frustration. Read more

Ques. How is instrumentation and control in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal?

● Top Answer By Kalyani Shankar on 09 Sept 23

Ans. The Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch at MIT Manipal is a multifaceted branch dealing with various subjects related to Electrical, Electronics, and mechanical. Students are taught about sensors, transducers, electrical and mechanical instruments, microcontrollers, control systems, process automation, etc. The branch is good and its labs are equipped with modern instruments. The faculty is decent and the placement scenario seems very promising. One of my friends recently completed his BTech in instrumentation and control and gave me an active idea of the placement scenario of the branch. Out of the entire batch around 95% of students got placed. The highest package stood at INR 20 LPA and the average stood at INR 10 LPA while the lowest was recorded at INR 5 LPA. The star recruiters included Mercedes, Flipkart, Amazon, and Nvidia among many others. Overall, this branch is great if you are interested in this field.Read more

Ques. How is instrumentation and control at NSIT - infrastructure, faculty, course content, scope, placement and research opportunities?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 23 Aug 23

Ans. Here is all the information about ICE at NSUT Delhi- Faculty - The ICE faculty is a mixed bag. There are some teachers who teach really well and their classes are enjoyable. However, there are some strict ones as well. Some do not care about their subject or the students at all. Coursework - The ICE coursework is fine and gives you ample time to pursue your interests. Infrastructure - NSUT Delhi has undergone infrastructural changes recently. This is because it has gained University status. The college library is centrally air-conditioned. ICE shares most of its labs with the Electronics and Computers branches. The labs are well-equipped. Placements - Placements are less as compared to COE/IT branches. Few companies offer jobs to ICE students, especially for Core job profiles. Generally, DRs and people with exceptional profiles are placed in ICE. Internship offers are also less for this department. Research- ICE students are actively involved in research work. The ICE faculty encourages students to participate in research. Students also work under DTU, IIT Delhi, and IIIT Delhi teachers. ICE students work on around 3-4 projects while at NSUT Delhi. Scope - ICE students drift from their core stream to a programming job or an MBA. Some also prepare for an MS.  This is all the information about the ICE branch at NSIT Delhi.Read more
