Likes

The campus is very beautiful and green. Whether and everything is so adorable and pleasant. Moreover the hostels are also good, sports complex is one of the finest of india including all the world class facilities including a gym.

Dislikes

It's too far from city. There's no auto or vehicle system inside the campus and as the campus size is huge so it's so much tiring to walk for a Xerox or any stationary staff the long way. Moreover there's no night canteenway

Course Curriculum Overview

There's a mid term exam in every 3 months and an end term exam in the end of every semester. Mid terms are of 20 marks each subject and 1.5 hours where as the end term exams are taken on for 50 marks . Rest 30 marks is from internal assignment and projects to make it 100

Placement Experience

Placements are quite decent and almost every MNCs visit here for campus placements. The TNP culture as well as the procedures for selection is also neat and clean. Moreover, one can easily approach to the CCD centre for any kind of confusions regarding placements

Fees and Financial Aid

For the students whose family income is above 5 lakhs, they need to pay the full payment. For those who belong to the group between 1 to 5 lakhs family income they have to pay 33% and for below 1 lakh, tution fee is revoked. Almost all scholarships under NSP is considered and applicable here.

Campus Life

There's almost every spheres where one can get exposure. Here we have Malhar the music club, FAC for art and craft, Aaveg for dramatics, Dzire, tbe dance club moreover technical clubs like DCC, Ecell etc also provide a great opportunities for the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels rooms are cleaned on daily basis including the toilets and corridors. Rooms are provided with a bed, a table, a wardrobe, light fan and bed switches. There are 4 mess for boys, veg mess, North mess, south mess and east mess. One can chk as per his convenience.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Basically this is one of the finest college of northeast and is a technical institution affiliated by AICTE, moreover this college has been funded by central government and it gives exposure to all the central government schemes and policies for students.

Faculty

Faculties are friendly, basically they don't use the Bengali language to impart instead they use Hinglish for better communication and understanding. They are available always in case of any doubts and anything.

Night Life

Hostels are decent. There are 3 hostels in total 2 for boys and 1 for girls. RNT hostel is provided to first and fourth years boys while Aryabhatta hostel is provided to the second and third years. There's a common hostel that is Gargi Hostel for all the girls.

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

Eyeopener

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
