All about NIT Agartala

Cources are relevant, but in first year the some cources might not be relevant for the student of other branch, as in first year all the students studies same subjects and labs( 2 semester), but it is good to study them as somehow students can relate them in there future studies in the same b.tech course.

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

The yearly fee i use to pay for my academics is 10-12k (SC category and for students having income below 1lakh)(veriable per sem.), tution fee is zero, but for other income slab the tution fee is adjusted accordingly and hostel fee (mess+room, can't be payed seperately) is 30000 (fixed for all), although there is an option to take leave (8 days per month), the mess will not charge for the leave days. Students having income above 8 lakhs need to pay the full fee i.e. 70k. there is scholarship section in collage, in which any student can contact there and know if he/she is elegible for any scholarship.

In NITA, there are main 3 big fests sponsered by our own collage, and weekly 2-3 hosted by the clubs. There is a huge range of books for all department students. there is a projector in all classes and fan and lighting is good. every years students go for inter NIT compitition. there are many clubs, for designers, gamers, cultural, photography, teaching, social helping, technical.

in first and second years students get double room, from the third year onwords they get singlr room. there will be bed,a fan, 2 light ,table and chair. there will be a big window and single door. there are 2 hostel (Aryabhatta n Rabindra nath tagore- RNT) for boys and one (gargi) for girls. 1 and 4 th year students stays in RNT and 2,3rd year students stays in aryabhatta. the registration process is simple, we need 1 passport size photo, and payment slip of hostel thats all. there are 1 different mess for the students, northern, eastern, southern and first year mess(only 1st students ), after 1st year they can choose there mess, as the same suggest the food will be based on the India lcations. no parents can enter the room of students.

i choose this collage because this collage is in my home state, and for me going somewhere else, out of stste will be a problem finencially. I have applied to other collages and i was selected, even i got admited but after the main result i got in NITA, although i have not thought of getting here as my rank was in lakhs. Addmissinon process was easy enough, just i need to go for physical verification with the documents i have uploaded after selection and sign in some documents.

Faculty members in my department are ok ok, i feel they don't know how to explain things properly, only fey faculty are really talanted and know well about there course. there will be 2 test before mid term and end term in a semester, first 10marks quiz and then a 10 marks test for internal, the mid term is of 30 marks and end term of 50 marks. extra dates are provides for backlogs(rs. 500 per subject registration) as the notice.

there are light all aroung the campus, so issue of darkness. there is a gym in the sports complex which is around 700 m from hostel. the entry time if from 5am to 10pm after than no one is allowed to enter or exit the campus, until it is allowed by the dean. there is park in the campus, (TSR camp)
