Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fee i use to pay for my academics is 10-12k (SC category and for students having income below 1lakh)(veriable per sem.), tution fee is zero, but for other income slab the tution fee is adjusted accordingly and hostel fee (mess+room, can't be payed seperately) is 30000 (fixed for all), although there is an option to take leave (8 days per month), the mess will not charge for the leave days. Students having income above 8 lakhs need to pay the full fee i.e. 70k. there is scholarship section in collage, in which any student can contact there and know if he/she is elegible for any scholarship.

As a Biotechnology student experience at NIT Agartala

When I get admission I paid 36000 rupees as per my Fee structure It was 17000 for 1st semester and rest of the money is adjusted for next semester as I'm a SC catagory student fee is much low like 6000-7000 per semester including all the fees no extra should be paid during whole semester. My Classmates who are from genaral catagory there are 3 types of fees those who's parents have income above 500000 has to pay 70000-75000 per semester. Who's Family income is less then 500000 and above 100000 they have to pay 30000-32000 per semester. And those family income is less than 100000 they have to pay only 6000-7000 as per SC/ST students give. Means no tution fee is applied. There are many types of Scholarship schemes as per NSP . SC catagory scholarship ST catagory Scholarship Merit Scholarship it is applicable for those who's family income is less than 800000 .

The year wise payment will be around like 80,000 and tuition fee is 9000, caution fee is 7000 and it will depends on the which category you are and there will a NSP for ST category students and the amount of NSP will come aorund the 95000 for the 1st year and next year it will be onwards 41000 beacuse of 1st year they are giving the laptop fee including the 95000 withb hostel fee

Year wise depends upon the family income category of students like there are the 3 slabs : 1. Under 1LPA: Tuition fees is around 6-9K depending on even or odd semester. 2. Between 1-5LPA: tuition fees is around 30-32K and lastly, 3. Above 5LPA : Tuition fees is around 70K. This is final tuition fees and if opted for hostel then it varies upon the Mess contractor but it lies between 20-25K . While choosing the hostel first time there isa 5000 caution fees which is refunded after completion of the course. There are some scholarship provided by the central or state goverment for SC/ST students of upto 1lakh while they apply thrrough the scholarship section.

NIT agartala is going change the india

courses are desined well so students not feel to much pressure on himself.

tution fee is also depend on your family income if your family income less than 1 lakh then you get 100% fee remesion . and sc/st students don't need to pay tution fee. the complete cost of education is around 4 lakh .this combines all charges if your family income is below 1 lakh. the schorship is also available like NSP/FFE/SR JINDAL .

All About Bio Tech In NIT AGARTALA

As a reserved category student my fees are approx 14000 a year and 7000 approx per semester. All these are semester fees and i don't need to pay tution fees. My complete course will be done in less than a lakh rupees. Approx 55000 rs for 4 years.
