The ICFAI University. Tripura

I chose b.tech because I wanted to study engineering hence I chose b.tech CSE. The curriculum prepares us good and there are practicals too so that's nice. The teaching needs to be improved in my opinion

The department assigms every student under a firm or company for internship during the summer break. Some students might get stipend for their work as well, this depends on the work efficiency of the student.

The placement for b.tech is not that bad because there are many companies come to hire freshly passed b.tech students and there is a placement department to help the students to get a job. The average package is around 5lpa

My fees is currently 1,30,000 for a whole year excluding hostel and mess fees . For students with domicile the fees here is 1,10,000/year. During admission a total of 20,000 to be paid extra for admission and security deposits 20000 .

The overall experience in the campus and also living in the hostel is quite good. There is library, Two badminton courts, one volleyball court and one football ground too. The whole campus is under the cctv surveillance as well and the alumni support is good

The hostel rooms are clean and every room is for two students sharing room. The hostel is always under the cctv surveillance so there is nothing like raging or anything if found in such activities guilty students might get expelled. The mess food is alright edible only not that good. In the room there are two beds two ceiling fans two tables two chairs.

I gave JEE but couldn't clear the examination hence I took admission in this university as I have some of my friends pursuing their higher studies here. There are no entrance exams here the admission process is simple just you need to acquire atleast 50% in the +2

The faculties are well qualified but the way they teach is not that good. But They are well behaving though. The faculties are approachable they clear the confusions. There are total 4 examinations. The exams didn't feel that tough

The night is pretty boring as there is nothing like restaurant or cafe or anything like that outside the campus. The university is located in a rural area and there is only a small market nearby. The timing when the gate closed is 8pm. There is a gym and basketball court too so interested students can use them.
