Government Degree College, Dharmanagar, Tripura, started its journey on 21st day of September in 1979. The College offers high quality of education in the field of arts, commerce and science stream in General as well as in honours courses. The professional courses like BCA, DCA are also offered. The IGNOU study centre in the College also offers master degree, diploma and certificate courses in varied disciplines.

NCC (National Cadet Corps) is a national organization which has helped in inculcation in the cadets a spirits of courage, confidence, self-reliance, selfless service, a feeling of patriotism, faith in oneself, power of thought and adjustment which are essential to make the youth disciplined and dutiful. The college has a well-established computer network system. ICT components are made available for final year students and staff of the institution. There are Computer Laboratories with high speed Broadband network service.

I had a great experience of the interview and I like more questions to write.

Likes

I like that my college is really clean. And they have proper food canteens. And I also like the classes

Dislikes

The first thing that I don't like about my college that the college is situated in a little bit village area so the roads are not that good condition
And also the toilet section is not proper clean. It is a basic thing to clean a college toilet but it's mails very bad during the class period.

Admission:

I choose the college because of my financial situation. I know that this is a good college but I actually want to be in another college but unfortunately my father's financial state was not good in that time so I lived in my house and start studying in my town college. Overall this is a good college but the classes are very few days

This college was my first priority list, but by chanse I will reject by the college, That's why I have applied another one college on the same course. But it was my second priority because of scarcity of good teachers and faculties in the college, And in the process of admission I have to payed 622 rupees for admission

Dharmanagar college the heart of tripura colleges

Admission:

Iam from dharmanagar.. I want to study in Agartala the capital of tripura.. I applied for agartala Ram Thakur college, MBB college Agartala etc..but when the selected students list is published I got selected in every college that I applied but.. I choose dharmanagar govt degree college because it is near form my home , the fees are less, and the college is very well structure and it's rating is very good .. this college have B++ rating by UGC

Likes

College campus is lush and green, it's situated out of the town area there is no city chaos, and it is so environment friendly.
And lastly, the seniors they are really very friendly, helpfull a d also they keep the campus, ragging free.

Dislikes

The buildings are old they don't look that good like private colleges and other big govt colleges.
There used to be powercut too often. And also there are many fans and light which are not in working condition.
Washrooms are not cleaned regularly, water filters are not in working condition.

Admission:

There are two admission sessions, one is through University website which will used to be first half of admission process and this completely on merit based. And on second half, there is spot admission where students apply physically by filling offline forms and submitting it in college campus physically and then according to merit list students are enrolled. Reservations are according to government notification.

The truth and honest review being a Senior student of my college

Likes

Things I liked about my college is it's classrooms. The classrooms especially in my department are quite clean and big
The campus around my college is quite big and one can enjoy a scenatic view too.
I like the canteen inside our college campus..as it is quite big and its a great place to chit- chat with friends.

Dislikes

I don't like the college dress as it is very boring to wear it everyday
I don't like the time management of my college.

Admission:

The admission procedure was very simple, we didn't need to sit for any entrance exam as the only requirement was our class 12th percentile in the specific field where we want to opt for our Bachelor degree.

I like the sports activities and programs which are held in college
I like the environment Campus ,library and practical labs
Other than my department i like all other departments

I also dislike the college uniform for girls
I mostly dislike that their is no punctuality

We have to get a minimum of 60% marks in the subject we want as a major. Admission is online but offline is also done after the completion of online admissions. The seat is reserved for ST and SC. But now due to NEP being introduced many more students are admitted last year and there was no online option for admission for which it took a very long time. Online admission is the best way

I like the admission procedure.it was online form . Student should fillup the form online.students must have secured 60%above marks in 12th standard.i am not aware of reservation benefits.question level is good .
