Eyeopener

I choose the course because I have interest in machines and this course was perfect best according to my JEE rank . The course will prepare 80% industry ready and to qualify further exams . There is very much scope of improvement as some new technology are coming and some portion is becoming outdated. The frequency of exam are twice a semester that is mid term and end term with moderate difficulty , also some class test are also conducted .

Internship cell of our college is active and provide internship to the students . Companies like CISCO , Mahindra , L&T etc offer internship at 10000 to 60000. Students do many projects in core as well in IT field depending on thier choice .

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

The year wise fees oof the college is 190000 . In which tution fees is 140000 and mess and hostel fees is 50000 . You get any central government very easily because it is institute of national importance but you should fulfill criteria for that scholarship. For SC/ST the tution fee is 6000 and for EWS it is one-third .

The annual tech fest is organised in January and cultural fest MOKSHA is organised in february and march . Generally all types of books related to subject and journal are available in libraray. Classroom are equiped with projector , speaker and led screen . Sports and extra curricular activities are awesome . Clubs and social groups are runned by student only and its impact is very good in their life and carrer.

Hostel are very good , claen water is provided with proper good rooms , regular cleaning is done in the hostel . Student have choice to choose mess facility like south north non veg pure veg mess . Food has variety but sometimes the quality is bad .

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . Opening rank for cse is 23000 .

The faculty to student ratio is 1:13 , as there are around 4000 students and 300 faculty. Faculty student relationship is good and purely depends on students and faculty . Faculties are easy to approach . Name of the faculties I liked are Bhowmick Chanchal sir , RVR sir etc . I liked thier teaching style and helpful nature . I will not disclose the name of faculty I do not like. Course curriculum is relevant . There are two exams mid term and end term they are of moderate level and very few students fail.

Gym , cafeteria , library closes by 10pm , so student face problem due to this . Boys Hostel has no in timings but campus in timings is 10pm. Hangout places are mostly in the campus but there us tea garden and small market at gate.
