Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years full-time B.Tech program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects with either Chemistry /Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology and recognized by any State Board / Central Board or any other accepted by SASTRA as equivalent to 10+2 or its equivalent examination, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry /Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology obtained in a single sitting.
Entrance Exam:
Candidate must qualify JEE Main entrance test.
Age Limit:-
Candidate should not have completed 19 years.

- Various facilities like marvelous library and other sports facilities are given by Sastra.

- Cultural activities are not given much importance by management.
- Strict rules were imposed on girls. Like girls should be inside their hostel before 6pm.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees for first semister is around 75000 and for 2nd semister 76000. Their is an upgrade of 1000 per semister. For the entire 4 years, the total cost amounts to 10lakhs. MHRD scholarship is accepted in this college which gives students around 10000 per year. For girls thier is also a scholarship is given by management.

Here in Sastra, they increase their fee some 2.5% for every semester, so the fee structure is pretty more than compared to any other Anna University colleges, regarding the scholarships yes there are scholarship for people who have lost their parents after joining the college and Campus is usually well appreciated in Sastra but this year as it is discussed everywhere there is recession period over everywhere like even in Top IIT's, So this year placements has been somewhat duller than other years
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses were update with industry standards. No industry exposure. The faculties were good except few who really aren't in current trend. The basics are laid strong. Some core subjects are not at all required now. The course content for future generation is upgraded and I hope so new buddies will come in flying colors.

New syllabus is well updated with lot of semi theory semi lab courses. Project based semester exam courses are introduced. Seminar based semester exam courses also exists.Syllabus majorly remains the same with few edits but lot of practical sessions are given importance now than before.

Top 10 percent students will avail good scholarship in both hostel and tution.Fee waiver is given to local rural students and students adopted from Kedarnath disaster and kabakonam school fire tragedy are taught for free.

My University gave lot of scholarship and loan opportunities.The loans are taken from the respective banks with good interest and valuable fees to pay to the university.There are many facilities for taking loans.

Our University is giving scholarship to students with the help of Government of India under National Scholarship Scheme. Other than this, they provide educational loan from CITY UNION BANK in college premises.

There are scholarships available in our College but I didn't get any. Based on ur grades and semester attendance they will be giving Scholar ships to some students. Education will be taken care by the CUB which is affiliated with our College.
