- Buildings mainly on labs and library are so goated
- Nothing special about canteen and shops around the college
- Buses are stopping so no problem for boys in travel basis
Dislikes
- Less tress in the campus so the heat in summer kills you
- Staffs are more rugged than normal comparatively
Placement Experience:
If you are a department based on computer science the placement starts from 5 th semester and for other departments the placements starts from 7th semester
Highest packages are upto 36 LPA
70 Percentage are placed in good companies if you have considerable CGPA
i personally plan to be placed

- The college atmosphere is very friendly.
- The quality of education is very high. The students are given very wide opportunities like participation in moot court competitions
- The staffs are very approachable and will help you with any doubts
Dislikes
- The college timing is from 8:45 to 5:15 which makes you feel tired
- There’s no celebration for any festival which might sometimes be boring
- There is no holiday for any festival other than Hindu festivals
Placement Experience:
College provides placement for students from the 9th sem. The eligibility criteria for placement varies from company to company. The general rule is that the students must not have any standing arrears. Various law based companies have been involved in this placement process. The highest package as of now is 4.5lpa

- I would say the kind of environment which sastra provides you is quite unique that is people from all different parts of country come up here for their education.
- The clubs at sastra are also quite good that is there are number of different types of teams / clubs and events which are conducted regularly over the time and you can explore it if you have interest.
- The faculties and professors at SASTRA are quite professional with huge set of knowledge in their specific domain.
Dislikes
- I would say SASTRA has quite a lot more restrictions compared to other colleges but in the end it all depends up on you.
- I would say academics is given more preference over here compared to extra-curricular activities.
Internships Opportunities:
The bring out opportunities to pre final year students as well where they can try to grab the opportunity and have 2 months of industry real world expereince after the 3rd Year.I would say internships are quite limited but in the end they are based on your skills and potential.

- The professors care about us getting a proper education. The place is beautiful and well kept. It's sanitary and not like other colleges.
- It has very good buildings and facilities, with a library and an indoor basketball court.
- Friends will be made. Those you can hang out forever with.
Dislikes
- Forces you to wear only kurta and shawl type clothes.
- Is very strict about girls and dont give as much freedom as the boys
- Management is biased and money minded. Not good
Placement Experience:
In law there won't be much placements. Most people go to litigation. But for those who are interested in placements, they can apply for it through the placements cell. The starting package is 2LPA and 5 LPA.

- No fests will be there when compare with other colleges
- Too strict rules when compare to other engineering colleges.

Placements will be good but recent times it was bad compare to 2023 batch and before due to low market.
However morethan 75% will get placed.

- No publicity for the college was done through the paper or advertisements.
- No management will be there. All candidates are joined through merit based
- Maintenance in the hostel and the campus will be good.
Dislikes
- No non-veg will be provided by the management.
- Girls will be having to much restrictions when they have to go out.
- Reservation percentage for tamilnadu students increased from 30 to 35%.

- Admission process is appreciated as it include merit based students.
- Teaching methods are using ppt presentations , Group discussions etc.,
- Campus contains shops with all necessary amenities.

Placements are offered by our college if not offered through on campus Placements we can go for off campus by applying through online like through linkedin, instagram ,job portals, company websites. We also have an option to do masters, MBA ,MTECH etc.., for further studying.

- I got experienced on how to interact with others .
- College is being located in outskirts of Thanjavur
- Boys are more compared to girls ,ratio will be around 992
Dislikes
- There are more restrictions in the campus.
- Like wearing formal dresses and no outings after 8 pm
- There will be too many exams for every 2 weeks
Internships Opportunities:
There are more internship opportunities but you need to work hard to improve skills and to get into that companies .
So work hard and get into your dream company .
Companies like paypal , wellsfargo , fidelity will come for intership .

- Campus is so vast.Has all facilities like labs,canteens.
- Professors are good in teaching . Good environment.
Dislikes
- No air-conditioning in class but for fees we are paying classes are fine
Internships Opportunities:
In 3rd year one mini project is done.in 4th year one final project can be done they are useful for campus interview. We can also work for other projects if we are interested into them.With help of faculty.

Some of them provide stipend and others are focus on learning andn industry management
