Faculty experience is minimum 5years ,the main thing is student will learn the subject by learning

Faculty:

For every 70 Students one faculty will be there as a mentor,the faculties are very interactive and like very friendly, there is no chance to like or hate the faculties according to my experience. The according to exams, there are three mid exams will conduct for Max marks 50 and take best of two among three exam scores and each exam converts into as some internals either 10/15/20 and internal marks score as 50 and theory exam Max marks marks is 100 and convert for 50 marks and minnimum pass required to pass out is 50 marks and based on your marks grade will be allocated

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

the faculty-to-student ratio is quite healthy, and most professors are approachable outside class too. Many of them are PhDs and really strong in their subjects, so you feel confident about the learning. I personally liked professors like Dr. X in Mathematics and Prof. Y in Computer Science because they explain concepts with real-life examples and clear all doubts patiently. Some others tend to rush through topics, which makes it tough to follow, so not everyone is equally student-friendly. The course is semester-based with midterms and end-sems, marking is fair but strict. Exams aren’t very easy, but failures are rare as long as you study. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant, so overall it feels useful

Beyond the Brochure

They faculty is really friendly and very easy to approach. They provide a proper guidance for our carrer paths.

The faulty to student ratio is pretty well balanced.The faculty are very friendly and knowledgeable very easy to approach but there is also few exceptions faculties.The faculty of accounting and finance are the best faculty .the reason is they intreract with students alot while teaching and one of the best friendly faculty in my department. The faculty of computing they are little to strict and rough with students. There are totally 6 sems in my course and exam structure for each sem is 3 CIA (cumulative internal Assessment) and a semester exam. 5 to 10 students will fail the exams . The course curriculum is well relevant .

Staffs are more rugged than normal comparatively

The ratio is ok.But some staffs are so strict that you need to study very hard basis so be prepared for any consequences and the staffs are sometimes reliable in studies that you can even call them personally and even clear doubts

My college experience

The faculty members are very friendly and approachable and they are very helpful. You can ask them doubts and any time and they'll be ready to help you out. Some of the best facilities are Nandhakumar sir, Madhavan sir, Sanjith sir etc. There will be 2 semester per year and the difficulty level varies from one year to another. Most of the students will clear the exams

LIFE at SASTRA

Faculty to student ratio is 1:13 in the college. Faculties will be very freindly with students always available when needed. I like padmapriya she teaches very well and gives perfect note. Exams difficulty will be dependent on the subject and the student perspective.

Life at sastra

Teaching methods are using ppt presentations , Group discussions etc.,

Faculties are fully knowledgeable in different domains. There are 3 mid exams in each sem. Among these best of 2 are selected. Semester exam will be for 100marks. Cia exams are bit difficult where as Semester exams are easy to pass.For first year all branch students will be having same subject from 2nd year they will enter intonthere core branches.
