What Students Say

Likes

They are conducting 3 exams for Internal Exam and take marks from best out of 2 exam.
Best Infrastructure and Best & Experienceed Faculty
They provide equal opportunity for all students for placements.

Dislikes

Attandance were strictly follow, must maintain above 80% no more medical leave for students
Students bike parking were badly maintained.
There is no holiday for Muslim and Christian festivals.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is the best curriculum in SASTRA DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY. For BCA there is c,c++, Microprocessor & Digital logics, Architecture,Data Structure,OS,OOPS, Software Engineering, python,java, cloud computing,dotnet, Graphics designing.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

There are many placement were provided from the college side. Even Multinational companies like Zoho,TCS,Wipro,etc., If you not placed in campus interview there is no more help from college side. We have try with our won risk.

Fees and Financial Aid

In SASTRA DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY Fee structure is 1st semester?25000 and rest of other 5 semester is ?20000 and exam fee for every semester ?2500.If there is any arrear appear for exam fee will increase ?200 per paper.There is no Scholarship for our college.

Campus Life

The overall Experience in our college is good. There is no more social activities in our college. All club is just for name shake. Infrastructure is very good and sometimes doing some civil work in our college drinking water were provided for each and every floor.

Admission

In my Hometown circle this is the only college to provide placements for Students with affordable fees Structure. In this college we should applied for admission through Online and every fee process through Online.

Faculty

Most of the Faculties were completed there PhD. BCA is almost similar to the Engineering course of CSE department. In our course mainly focuses c,c++,java, Web development, python, graphics designing and cloud computing.They conducting 3 Internal Exam and take marks from best of 2 exam out off 50 marks and semester exams were conducted for 100 marks and convert into 50 marks. Marks were provided strictly and Straightforward.

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice.
