Which is better, ECE in Pondicherry Engineering College or Biotech in Sastra?

Fees and Financial Aid:

The average tuition fees for a semester is around 84,000 . In the 1st semester college have collected 10000 rupees as an development charges for new student. sports and unit test fees for each semester is 2000 rupees . Breakage fee is raised at the end of the each semester will be 300 to 400 . For 8 semester i have paid 7,36,419 rupees totally. In case under any sudden demise of father who is only the earning person in the family during the study of college , the management do collect fees for them in the upcoming semester. For that the student must have good cgpa and should not have any history of arrears.

The year wise fees willl be around 1.8 l and it is same here for all the courses.Hostel fees is 16000 for 3 in 1 and 25000 for single room.Mess fees will be around 3.5k-4.5k per month.There are many scholarships available for te students who are having the percentage greater than 85 in their boards rand their annual income is less than 8lakhs.When you have greater cgpa and be disciplined then there is a high chance of getting scholarship to study abroad

The fee structure in SASTRA university is different from what I've seen in other colleges, there is a constant increase of 5% of initial semester fees for the upcoming semesters ex. If the fee for first sem is 75,000 then the fee for next sem is 75,000+ (5% of 75,000)

For first and 2nd semester it is 85000 and it increases annually at the rate of 5 percent. Admisson fee 6000 Sports and extra curricular fees 1000 Development fees 10000 For non residential Indian students the fee if 5000 dollar annually Sastra doesn't accept students based of caste quota or income quota. The college provided scholarship aren't much of use. If the your parent or guardian who is the one earning and paying fees died your tution fees will cancelled and you study for free.

Sastra University-an honest review

The semester wise fee starts from 75,000 and increases 5 petcent an semester. Deans list students will get 10 percent scholarship(top 1 percent students). Exam fees will be 200 for a paper and varies accordingly for the number of papers.

About SASTRA

Fees is not too more of too less.Its moderate.while coming to hostel ( the accomodation) it's quite good.16000 for 4 in 1 per year is affordable.mess fees have to be paid monthly.academically 75000+5%increase every year is okay.but they are adding multiple unwanted things to pay also.

Syllabus of most branches cover the GATE syllabus, ensuring that a large number of candidates are GATE Qualified.Adequate preparation for placements given by the department of training and placements

The tution fee is pretty affordable and there is only little hike throughout the course duration. The complete cost of education is around 4 to 7 lakhs depending upon the duration of course and if the student is a day scholar or hosteller. There are financial aids available, but I'm not sure about the names for it. It caters to students with a difficult financial or family background. The university also offers internships to people of selected departments like CSE, ECE, MECHANICAL which also guarantee a stipend if confirmed.

Fee structure was little ,i felt difficult

The fee is around 4.50 lakhs for whole semester and yearly around 80K to 90K and it also depends on course which we are selecting the amount and cost of study may vary. I didn't get any scholarship or financial assistance during campus
