What are the scholarships given at SASTRA university?

According to the information I got from the website, there are 2 types of scholarships provided by SASTRA University. Hostel Scholarships: Students availing this scholarship should meet a certain criteria. They should not have paid the fine for mess facilities. Hostel attendance should be perfect. Indiscipline action should not be done by the student in the hostel. They should have a minimum of 90% class attendance. If you meet the above criteria and have and maintain a good CGPA, you will be offered a scholarship of INR 16,000. This reimburses the Mess Fee for a year. Dean’s List Merit Scholarship for Top Scorers in University Examinations: There are two levels in obtaining this. If you are in the top 2-3% in the university, you will be offered two-fifths of a semester fees. If you are in the top 3-10% in the university, you will be offered one-fifth of a semester fees. Therefore, SASTRA University is known to have helped students who face financial difficulties. They will help you complete your studies in extreme cases. If you are a good student with a decent GPA and conduct you will be assured a proper graduation.

SASTRA Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

SASTRA University offers a variety of scholarships and loan facilities to support students financially. Merit-based scholarships are provided, with the top 2% of students receiving Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 25,000 per year and those in the top 3-10% receiving Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 17,000, depending on their CGPA and attendance. Hostel scholarships of Rs. 16,000 per year are available for students with good attendance and behavior. Educational loans are facilitated through partnerships with banks like City Union Bank (CUB) and Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), offering reduced interest rates and easy access for students.

Additional scholarships include those for economically disadvantaged students, students from disaster-affected areas, and special awards for top performers. The tuition fee is approximately Rs. 75,000 per semester, with a 5% annual increase, and various merit-based scholarships are available to alleviate financial burdens.

Honest review.

The year wise fees sums upto ?1,87,000 excluding the other kind of charges. Caution fees, lab fees and other charges might be pressed based on the requirement and the performance of the candidate. The fees is consistent among all my batchmates irrespective of their category. Scholarships which could be availed by all citizens of India are applicable and could be claimed by students based on their merit. No financial aid is being provided apart from scholarships.

This the good college and belongs tier 2 after some nits and iits

For total course it will take around 12 lakh and yearly fees is 187000 It will increase 5% per semester and scholarship are provided for well studying students this clg will take so much enjoyment and education at a same time and some fest are conducted yearly thrice

Life at sastra university

85000per sem we are paying.tuition fee is 170000 per year,for four years it will come around 7.5lakhs.for sc and st students the tution fee is same as per the regular students..no descrimination.and we have pay sem fee asloo around 1000rupees.. There is a scholarships also there like nsp etc..

GLANCE OF SASTRA

I have been paying 85000 per semester and per year it may be nearly upto 170000 ant there is an yearly increment of 5% for every year.Remaining fees like ,exams ,labs and sports are seperate.There is no category consideration in this.All are treated as equal.I have just applied for scholarship and I don't know whether I select or not.Totally for four years it would be nearly 750000

The semester fees is 187000 for the first semester including all fees and from second semester onwards 5% increase in fees and total fees for academic is approximately 7.5lakhs. and caution fees is 2000 and registration fees is 400 and develop fees is 5000 and there is no reservations based on cast. And it is. Also same for any other batches here. And I applied for nsp scholarship it will around 2 lakhs for 4 years.

Review on the experience in college life

The year wise fees that I am paying is 185000,it includes mainly tuition fees that is per semister 85000 and all other small amount will be included. All other students fees will also be the same there will be no difference in the fees structure per each student it is mainly taking through the board exam marks and jee mains percentile
