What are the scholarships given at SASTRA university?

According to the information I got from the website, there are 2 types of scholarships provided by SASTRA University. Hostel Scholarships: Students availing this scholarship should meet a certain criteria. They should not have paid the fine for mess facilities. Hostel attendance should be perfect. Indiscipline action should not be done by the student in the hostel. They should have a minimum of 90% class attendance. If you meet the above criteria and have and maintain a good CGPA, you will be offered a scholarship of INR 16,000. This reimburses the Mess Fee for a year. Dean’s List Merit Scholarship for Top Scorers in University Examinations: There are two levels in obtaining this. If you are in the top 2-3% in the university, you will be offered two-fifths of a semester fees. If you are in the top 3-10% in the university, you will be offered one-fifth of a semester fees. Therefore, SASTRA University is known to have helped students who face financial difficulties. They will help you complete your studies in extreme cases. If you are a good student with a decent GPA and conduct you will be assured a proper graduation.

I paid 96000 a year and bus fees is 20000 administration fees came around 10000 every one in my batch pay the same amount for the sems there is scholarships for 95% and above students course fees is very expensive compared to other collages

Beyond the Brochure

First year i paid around 1,42,000 which includes 45,000 per each sem, bus fee for a year was 22,000 , admission fee of 10,000 and for a first of bcom we had jk shah coaching for chattered accountant which cost around 20,000. For my upcoming years it will be 1,12,000 (inclusive of bus fees)for each year. Scholarships are available for students who scored more than 95% to 97%. The fees for have been tremendously increasing compared to my passed out seniors(2025) having a difference around 40000 per year.

The fees structure is The Tuition fees is rs 70000 per sem and the Sports and unit test fees will be rs1000 per annum and the Development fees should be paid as a one time payment which is nearly rs 10000.

My College Life at SASTRA University.

The fee structure at sastra university is quite different where you have to pay semester wise tution fee of average of 75000 per semester which is like 1,50,000 per year and I feel this is quite average compared to other colleges because here the fee structure is same for all students that is there is no option of Management quota or reservation quota in the college.The college is purely based on meritocracy that is they focus on your academic scores that is +12 scores and JEE scores.

In the beginning it was 60k per semester, which is much better than in other colleges. Each year 1k will be added so by your final year it will be 70k per sem. For engineering students it will start from 70K

LIFE at SASTRA

We have to pay the tuition fee sem wise that is 75000 per sem, which will be increased by 5% yearly. First sem 92000 includes all admission, registratio fees. Everyone will have the same fee no concession will be given.

In the college there will not be given any concession. Scholarships are only government approved like other colleges.75000 per sem tuition fee will be charged. In the first sem along with caution fee,registration fee , admission fee is 92000. Yearly 5% increment will be there. Fee is same for all the students.

Life at sastra

Yearly fee is about 1600000. There will be seperate money for Hostel, Exam fee, Breakage fee. Adding them w'll be paying 2lakhs per year. Scholarships include Ntional scholarship portal (NSP) will be about 12000 per year, Pragathi scholarship for girls 50000 per year.
