- I like the classroom teaching as it is tge the most orthodox state college which has now turned into an autonomous university
- Placement rate is quite high. Almost 90 percent students get placed every year.
- Personal and Professional development has a scope here.
Dislikes
- I feel there should more number of digitised labs and smart classrooms
- Teachers should little linient and supportive so that students feel free to share doubts
- Infrastructure is still under development. Overall the campus is nice .
Course Curriculum Overview
Well my branch and curriculum is quite exciting as it is mix of both core and IT. I find out really fascinating about semiconductors and circuitous knowledge. It prepares students to be industry ready. Now the frequency of classes is someday 3 or 4 or 5.
Internships Opportunities
Well Amazon provides internships on affiliate marketing then Google provides internships on date management and many more. Some core companies provide stipend of around Rs 10000 per month which good for Bhubaneswar city.
Placement Experience
From 3rd sem itself students start taking industry courses and attending seminars and internships. This allowed them to be mentally prepared for the final year. L&T Delloite Accenture such companies are the leading recruiters in outr. Percentage of placement is more than 90 percent. My plans is to settle in Government served organisation
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is Rs 45400 . Out of these Rs 10000 is deducted as OJEE seat acceptance fees. My batchmates most of them have paid only Rs 5000 as they had category reservations. Yashasvi scholarship,OUTR merit scholarship,State scholarship are the main ones.
Campus Life
Xtasy Perception Zairzest are some of tge tech fests and carnivals. Then we have Engineers Cup for sports and games. Again nowadays kho kho is given priority. We have energy clubs like Soectrum music clubs like Arpeggio . Bands like Daanav .
Admission
Well i really prefer being in this college as it is one of the leading engineering institutes in Odisha . No i wasn't rejected rather i cos this in OJEE. First i appeared in JEE mains exams then scored a good rank then participated in OJEE councelling and got this
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:16. Some teachers are really supportive and understanding they help us . Some are quite so much of themselves. I like G Nayak sir and Miss Sudha. Total 5 exams aree held 1 special exam 2 midsem 2 endsem
Night Life
Really safe place. Administration is good. Hostels have nice rooms good food great facilities. Some hangout places are Khaogali Ghatikia Junction or Anand Bhawan. No gyms. Cafeteria has a lot of stores. Bread omlette is the best here. Odia cgef is a nice restaurant here
