All about IIIT Bhubaneswar

The course is pretty good but I think the faculty is not that good .But yeah in college who will be dependent on faculty ,most of the things we have do it ourselves .The course curriculum in good ,it has all things which will be needed for students in their life .There are 2 main exams mid sems and end sems .mid sems are of 30 marks and end sems of 50 and rest 20 marks are of quizzes and teachers assesment .

Ther are different companies that give internships in our college to 3 Rd year students .I don't know very much about the internships as I myself am a 1 St year but as heard from senior accompanies like oracle ,Google,Microsoft ,Infosys and other offer internship opportunities to students

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

The fee structure is simple .It includes all types of fees except mess because our mess has a weekly pay type of structure which is not included in main fees .we have to submit fees at theend of every semester . And exh semester it increases by some amount As it was in school.college helps in providing scholarship if you top in branch or have the glhighest cgpa

The overall experience of college is good.There are all types of things happening.There are different fest both cultural and technical.Our main fest is Advaita which is a techno cultural fest.all sports are available but our main ground is not so big so keep your expectations low.There are all types of club like coding, cultural,art and craft,management etc.Classrooms are good but some of them are still not equipped with Ac's.

Our hostel I would say is good compared to IITs or other government colleges.There are 2 types of rooms 3 seater and single seater .After first year you can opt for single seaters .Mess is ok as it for all colleges.nothing extraordinary here.Hostel are affordable like 9 to 10 k per semester for 3 seater and more for single seater rooms.

The admission process of not very complex .Admission are granted on basis of Jee Main ranks and 50 percent are resevered for odisha students.The admission ardone through jossa and csab counselling and details are provided on their website.Cse course was eligible for candidates who secured around 97 to 96 percentile in jee mains for other state .I am not sure about home state .You have to pay a fees to lock your seat in college which will be adjusted in your college fees .after locking seat further procedure is done through college website
