Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are completed punctually in accordance with BPUT guidelines. While there may be slight discrepancies during internal and mid-term exams, the college administration ensures the smooth running of all other aspects.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Tata Power, Apmosis, mothersons, and different IT companies have given the opportunity to the students. For internships you have to do apply for it through the college and do it during the provided academic breaks. In final year there are minor and major projects which will be evaluated for academic records and marking.
Placement Experience
Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees are considered average since it is a government college, but the hostel fees vary over time due to changes in the mess services. The total cost for the 4-year B-Tech course is estimated to be around 4 Lakhs, which includes hostel accommodations.
Campus Life
The campus experience was truly remarkable, with excellent infrastructure. However, there are a few specific aspects that need attention, such as the timings of the college gate and hostel closing. Nonetheless, there are numerous enjoyable activities to partake in within the college.
Hostel Facilities
There are three hostels for boys and two hostels for girls, with one separate hostel for each gender reserved exclusively for first-year students. The campus strictly prohibits ragging, as the administration has implemented specific rules to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Admission
To take admission here, you must have a valid jee main score or Ojee score card, after which you will be able to apply in Ojee councelling process. Then the seats will be allocated accordingly and the college will fix a date for the offline admission.
Faculty
The civil engineering department is proud to have a highly qualified faculty, most of whom hold PhDs. While the practical sessions are effective, there have been some issues with the availability of instruments in the lab. The department is actively working to resolve this matter. Moreover, we have a dedicated Auto-CAD lab. Our department consists of 26 faculty members, supported by 10 lab technicians and administrative personnel.
