Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is decent but slightly outdated and need to upgrade to industry level teaching and trainings. More practical and hands on skills , live projects, and skilled based learning would imporve the understanding.
Internships Opportunities
College provides average internships and job like from companies Dell,Infosys,TCS etc ,college has tie-up for jobs and internship along with practical industry experience . Basic projects and training is provided before the interview.
Placement Experience
Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees are approx Rs 1.2-1.5 lakhs/semester making it yearly around Rs 2.5-3 lakhs/year and increasing slightly 5-8% per year. Total Course fees can go upto 12 lakhs and for Fees wavier student can cost upto 6 lakhs which makes half of B.Tech fees in the college.Fees is equal irrespective of catergory,management beneift. For merit students if falling under low income bracket the college give special fees wavier financial aid.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent and provides a balanced academic and social environment. College organizes many fest time to time around the academic year. Many clubs for students are also present. Classroom are well equipped with basic facilities like projectors, smart board.
Hostel Facilities
Every room can be equipped to 3 persons providing all 3 with individual fans,3 tables, 3 chairs and a common light for room. Meal quality is decent and price is very reasonable. Meals provided inside the hostel it self.
Admission
I was one of the best colleges in the state with engineering streams. I choose this college because it provides best infromation about my desired branch. The Admission process of this college is very smooth and transparent. Eligibility were clearly mentioned, counseling was also well organzied.
Faculty
Faculy members are supportive, knowledgebale and maintaing a good faculy-student interaction.The course few subjects slightly outdated and need to be updated. Exams are moderate with fair marking, and students pass without major issue.
Night Life
Nightlife is limited but safe and peaceful. Places are decent in size. There are no major enojyment near the college but well connected to the centre of city with public transport .The college has strict hostel and campus timings .
