Course Curriculum Overview

In my college there are 22 clubs exists. Out of these 22 some are technical clubs and some are non technical clubs. Technical clubs includes robotics, astronomy, coding etc . Non technical clubs includes art and dramatic, music, dance. There is and organisation is also there that is NCC which is very helpful for the students who wants to join army, navy etc. There is a Government club is also there that NSS. There are blackboards and white boards in each class and many classes have projects also except few.

Internships Opportunities

4

After the completion of each year college provides Internship opportunities for the students. Last year companies like Matlab Coding, Coding Ninja were provided Internship to the students. Students are allowed to do minor and major projects under a faculty member who will guide them in every step.

Placement Experience

4

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the whole 4 years we have to pay in total 484500 rupees. In 1st year we have to pay 123500 and for the next 3 years we have to pay 121000. So the fees for 2nd,3rd and 4th year decreased. For each semester registration fees is 2500. A student is allowed to apply for only one scholarship. All type of scholarship such as state scholarships like post matric,e medhabruti etc and national scholarships are available for the students.

Campus Life

4

In my college every year 2 celebrations are there that are one is college foundation day and then the other one is techfest that is SANKALP. In my college there are two libraries are there that is one is central Library and the other one is a normal Library. And in the central library there are more than 10k books kept and more than 10 books of each author are there so that simultaneously many students can prefer. And in my college sports facilities are available and students those who are good in sports can take trainings and there are periods for sports and club activities. Students those who are in clubs are really good and the clubs play a vital role in enhancing their communication skills and making their stage fear 0.

Admission

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date

Faculty

4

Faculties of my college are really good. There are so many faculties who teaches so well that even the students who are getting failed in the exam can pass easily. Some of the best facilities of my college are Sasmita padhi, Harekrushna Gantayat, Sandeep Mallik, Y.Sankar Rao, Naba Panda, Minakshi Dash, Sukanti Pal, Aswini Kumar Nayak etc. I like the faculty the most is Harekrushna Gantayat sir because he is such a kind of faculty who is very punctual, friendly nd helpful to each and every students, teaches very clearly and nicely and complete the course within time. There are no faculty to whom I don't like. Each year we have to appear 2 mid semesters and 2 end semesters and 2 quiz tests and 1 surprise test and the questions are not so easy and not so difficult but they are average and students can answer the questions easily. About 10 to 20 percent students get fail to clear the exams.

Night Life

5

There is gym in my college but the timings for the girls and boys are different so that everyone can feel comfortable. In morning time from 6 to 7 am is for girls and 7.30 to 9 am is for boys. And in evening time 3 to 4 pm is for girls and from 4.30 to 6 pm is for boys. There are a multiple cafes inside the college where students can chill out. And the canteen of my college is really good and it's food is awesome and nonveg is so tasty that no one can imagine. My college is situated just beside the NH only. And there are so many restaurants are there for hangout. For boys hostel gate closing time is from 5 am to 9 pm and for girls hostel it's from 5 am to 7pm.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
