Likes

Teacher are good, labs are better , bus facility is good.
There is a policy of tfw scheme for meritorious students who score good mark in both jee and academics .other scholarships are also encouraged like emedhabruti.
About placement variety company are coming . courses like m.tech, b.tech, bsc are available. there are so many streams in every department. a very big library with wide range of books of every domain.classes are good ,clean .

Dislikes

The placement scenario for our branch is very bad; very few companies visited during our session.
The hostel facilities of this college is not so good , the food we get here is the worst that every 3 days in a week we need to go for restaurant and dhabas.
Financial and scholarship are only provided to the bonafied students by the state government, there are no institutional scholarship available.

NIST College review

Likes

Environment of the college very much green lush campus
The bus facility of the college is very nice
Teachers are very helpful and polite to talk except a few

Dislikes

Hostel Water and mess food is very badd tasteless.
Infrastructure is old except a few buildings.
College timings and schedule is tight barely giving space to do any sports

Placement Experience:

IN our college the highest placement this year was 23 lakhs froom CSE branch and lowest was 2.5 lakhs and avergae placements were 5-7 lakhs. But very few get selected many of are unemployed or get very low or no offers

Life at NIST

Likes

few faculties are super nice and helpful also very supportive, even the hostel staffs are very nice.
crowd is pretty good not too studious but still very nice and helpful guys.
facilities like free bus ride for hostellers is my most liked part of this college which takes us to a few nearby cities or landmarks.

Dislikes

The drinking water here is very bad even with purifiers and all it still feels hard to drink.
The mess food is pretty decent to average, also one can only choose one from menu either veg or non-veg which sucks.
its is a bit secluded and there is barely any restaurant or any hotels nearby to dine in.

Placement Experience:

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Placement Experience:

Placement record is always good from beginning. All IT tech majors queue during placement sessions. Now a days Big4 also recruiting from the campus. If someone missed, they have strong comptence and capability to crack any interviews any where - that kind of preparedness is there

My College Life

Likes

Atmosphere of the college is very positive
Opportunity to learn abt many things and getting knowledge about new things
Meet with new people and getting knowledge about corporate life

Dislikes

Attendance rules of the college and regulations
Not any extra efforts of any facilities for there students

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but we are expecting to having food placement in next few times there is average companies are come here for placement and there is a avg of 2-3 lac package and there might be not that reputated companies are there

Nist University is perfect

Likes

Campus is good and there are a lot of gardens present.
Labs are good and they provide practical work experience.
Faculties are good and modern they teaches well.

Dislikes

Assignments they give a lot of Assignments which gave to write in hand.
They give a lot of record work which also have to write in hand.
Exams are too boring and 3 hours of exams.

Placement Experience:

They provide a lot of placements but now a day they provide most of in call center works which have low package along with that they provide technical placements but the number is less. The highest package is 23 lakh and average package is 6 lakh. In nist 70 to 80% students get placed.

Nice campus have a lot a rhings to discover .
No restrictions on the new things all the curricular activites

Dislikes

Bus facilities , less bus have to struggle to get the seat
Cleaness , not clean swage management is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is peefect l. But the course curriculum must be based no practical use rather for exam only. We got computer labs but more than labs we have class. Lab time must be more and the exam must be on rhe pracrical knowledge only

Likes

Good campus and beautiful infrastructure
Anti ragging campus and fully protective for hostelers

From 6th or 7th semesters the students are eligible for placements sessions and many good and interesting companies are coming to give a job and opportunity. The 75% if students are getting job in campus with good package.

Here are many clubs which helps students to grow in their interested hobbies or activities
Seniors are friendly and guides us in every prospecct

from 7th semester students are eligible for placement exams companies like TCS, Flipkart , Mahindra , Accenture, wipro , infosys,ICICI Bank 80%student placed with highest package of 23LPA and average 6 LPA i want a good placement more than 10-12LPA after getting my degree

My College Life.

Likes

The best thing that I liked is the faculty members as they are really good teachers and teachers so well that even a failed student can score good mark.
Another thing is about sports and extra curricular activities that they are 22 clubs like technical and non technical
Another thing is rules and regulations and there is no partiality between students.

Dislikes

Transport facilities as there are only limited buses so students have to go by standing.
Lack of communication skills of the students.
Lack of seriousness of few teachers about course.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Great and better futures

Likes

Our central library is so huge and capabilities of setting more then 1000 student
Smart class room are there in our collage so anyone study peacefully
Out cultural feast is good and held so many concert programs

Dislikes

Every University have the same problems that food is not good .
Some faculties are not good teach us so we need good faculties
Hostel management is not good hostel food also very bad no everyday but some days

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we talk about nist University the coures curriculum in term of relevance and compreahensiveness there is many course available in our university like btech, Mtech ,mca,MBA, msc,bca and the most intresting part is their is also a specialization course available with btech cse which will be more important for future.
