Nice campus have a lot a rhings to discover .
No restrictions on the new things all the curricular activites

Bus facilities , less bus have to struggle to get the seat
Cleaness , not clean swage management is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculam is peefect l. But the course curriculum must be based no practical use rather for exam only. We got computer labs but more than labs we have class. Lab time must be more and the exam must be on rhe pracrical knowledge only

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees i paid is Rs125000/- only. The yearly fee include all the fees mentioned above there no fee relaxation on Sc St. Many scholarships like State scholarships, sibling scholarships, defence scholarships

Campus Life

We got 6 buldings and 5 hostels. And a indoor stadium and a swimming pool. A rock garden with a innovation hut. 29 clubs for other activities. We got many spoets event in college both intra and inter sports event

Admission

NIST is most famous in the eastern part of odisha because of its history and the college has a great legacy. Most of my senoirs suggested me the nist college and ya it was worth it. And now i am witnessing.

Faculty

Faculties are supportive. Actually helps in lab because they help you both in practical and theoritical. Exam are mid sem(50 marks) semester(100 marks) internal includes assignmemts quizs

Night Life

Since it is away from city berhampur and situated close to higway outside campus is nothing special during night but inside the campus its a lamp.free to go outside with the help of bus whoch too provided by the college.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.
