Likes

Teacher are good, labs are better , bus facility is good.
There is a policy of tfw scheme for meritorious students who score good mark in both jee and academics .other scholarships are also encouraged like emedhabruti.
About placement variety company are coming . courses like m.tech, b.tech, bsc are available. there are so many streams in every department. a very big library with wide range of books of every domain.classes are good ,clean .

Dislikes

The placement scenario for our branch is very bad; very few companies visited during our session.
The hostel facilities of this college is not so good , the food we get here is the worst that every 3 days in a week we need to go for restaurant and dhabas.
Financial and scholarship are only provided to the bonafied students by the state government, there are no institutional scholarship available.

Make it accurate considering all pos and cons

Likes

Internet 24 hour and the speed of net is very good
Transportation is very great full in every time provided college
Indor stadium provide intersting game and we are playing

Dislikes

Mess food like a dirty and value less many student are dislike the food
Class room are not like a descent roomss
C language subject no any one faculty teaching properly

Placement Experience:

You obviously get a degree and everyone knows after you get a degree no one sees it it's all about the skills you have and the talent you got so but the college placements are have been rough from last 5 years...

Feeling good at NIST

Likes

Faculties are good and friendly and very cooperative
College campus is good and feel comfortable

Placement Experience:

Many companies comes for placement and nist alumni is very big so in every company 1 or 2 nist passout students are there . Now zenus, Wipro ,tcs , cognizant and Accenture and PWC and many companies comes for placement program

I liked the food for odisha food it is good. I mean except for some food items. Staff is preety helpful
The gym is also good and all the clubs too
Education in general is good. Good lectures and Notes. If you pay full attention in the class you will understand preety much everything

Dislikes

I didnt like how some staff will stereotype you

You obviously get a degree and everyone knows after you get a degree no one sees it its all about the skills you have and the talent you got so.. but the college placements have been rough from last 2 3 years due to resession.

It's all about good I have shared all the things about our college.

Likes

In this college I like the environment and building from outside not from inside.
Some faculties are there whose teaching style is much better and they interact with students I like this type of facilities.
I like the function of this college.In functions we enjoyed a lot .very less number of functions are celebrating.

Dislikes

In hostel I don't like to stay because food is not good it's like average.Cleanless is not there.
In college class room are not clean inside the classroom dog is there hostel to college path is not good like not clean
Boys girls Bonding is there but many boys are irritating inside the classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

Student teacher interaction improvement is must needed. Cleanliness improvement (classroom clean, hostel clean ) There are many servant still cleanliness is not there. After 2month mid semester is coming and after 4Month semester there are no time for studying.Time is very less although our course also not completed teachers are teaching very quickly so we don't understand anything You should have to give some time for studying and rivision. In berhampur NIST is best college for engineering so I choose this.

Life in nist

Likes

The environment is very nice here and very eco friendly
Infrastructure is quite impressing and eye capturing
Health care facility is also good and fast

Dislikes

Dont have enough lab equipments for conducting experiment

Course curriculum is good as they build up u from the basics of Everything . As during 1st year you will be learning all the vasic subjects such as english , maths , physics , chemistry and core subjects such as , electrical , mechanical and civil .

Environment of the campus, there are a lot of garden inside the campus
Healthy compitition can be seen among students
Teachers are very friendly as for guidance related things

Food is not upto the mark. Not hygienic enough

College provide placement facilities and guidance to students
College teacher are very cooperative and helping nature
College conducted different functions and we have good friends and social active in library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The area of improvement in the sport facility and the teaching method of giving less subject for the exam.the course curriculum is little lengthy as per semester 7 subject we have to study and the timing of exam is about 3 hours

Likes

College canteen. Where we get delicious food and like to spend good time with friends
College has good library where we can issue and read good books
College has sport facility name indoor stadium where we can play different games

Dislikes

College should be maintain cleanliness in washroom
College should focus on more sport and other curricular activities
College should provide good learning facilities

The course curriculum is little bit difficult and it should be little bit easy to be made and lot of subjects are there we have to study a lot and we have to focus on cgpa so we have to study hard so if the curriculum should be made easy we would be helpful
