OUTR the Life

My branch is bit of both IT and core industry as well basically dealing with semi conductors and circuits which makes it an interesting industry ready branch. Thus i like it very much. Exams are conducted after almost every 3 to 4 months . Difficulty level is quite varying and perceptional.

From 3rd year itself the seminars and online internships . Also college supports start ups and other entrepreneurships. L&T and Aceenture are the leading recruiters. Highest Package this year was 21 LPA so far. Almost more than 90% placement rate is here. My plans is to get through a reputed multinational company.

The year wise fees is approx Rs 45000. THe detailed break up is Rs 10000 for OJEE and Rs 35400 is for admission registration. My batchmates fees is quite varying as some are SC ST . So they had to pay Rs 5000 only to OJEE. Some of the main scholarships are OUTR merit Scholarship, Yashasvi, State Scholarship, etc.

Xtacy , Zairzest , Engineers Cup are some of the main events. DJ nights occurs more frequently. then there are various other sports as well like basketball kho kho kabaddi chess etc. E-Library is the main point of attraction. There are various clubs like tech clubs cultural clubs musical bands dance groups.

I applied to VSSUT Burla. I dint get rejeced rather i chose this seat in this college just because of its nice placement rate. You need to first attempt JEE then apply for online councelling through OJEE then wait for rounds. The basic cutoff is minimum #300000 rank

THE Faculty to student Ratio is 1:16. So student are quite familiar with newly recruited faculties. I like Sudha sahoo ma'am and Gangadhar Sir. Also we have Biswajit Sir with atmost involvement in each and every matter. There are in total 5 exams in a year. 2 midsems 2 endsems 1 special exam

No gyms are there. Cafeteria has N number iof varietyin food. Odia chef is the best place out here. OUTR has its own canteen as well . Also we have nearby places like Khandagiri or Jaydev VATIKA or KHaogali orGHATIKIA FOOD COURT.
