Good college!! But needs your hustle to survive.

The course is simply outdated. The college requires new curriculum to counter the modern market needs. The only solution for students is to take out some free time for skill development. Cause placement is not much ludicrous in this college even if you maintain a good gpa

Many companies offer internships. You can avail internship from 4th semester. Rourkela steel plant tata electronics etc such companies do offer internship programs. Getting a good company completely depends on your skill.

Placement offers are average. Some good companies do hire like the LnT, Maruti Suzuki, tata, Deloitte,tcs etc. The highest package was arround 43lpa in 2023. If I get no placement ofcourse I'll look into off campuse opportunity

1st years fees will be 45k including the registration fees. 2nd year onwards yearly fees would be nearly 35k. Students can apply for govt scholarship if eligible. Otherwise if students secure more than 8.5 cgpa in even semester college scholarship worth 10k will be provided yearly

You can participate in differential club proggrams. The seniors will guide you well. Infrastructure is not meeting the current requirement but is developing slowly. The sports club culture is pretty good. The most awaited engineers cup happens in cet inviting some other colleges for competition

The other college I applied was VSSUT burla. Both cet and vssut being govt college. It seemed there's no difference between them. I chosed cet cause as it is my hometown and it's an urban area. Good for communication and exposure.

Some faculties are understanding in nature. But some are just intolerable from student point of view. For academics 6 theories 4 practicals. Mid sems are of 20 marks end sem 60 marks. Rest 20 for quiz and assignments etc etc.

No gd or Pi needed to take admission in this college. Jee main is only criteria to get into this college and for lateral entry students they can opt for ojee. The ojee will release the notice of registration and choice filling date for admission process once after the exam are over.

The locality is rural type surrounded by jungle. It's not actually safe to roam at night. Hostel restriction timings are 7 to 8pm. The famous hangout places are khandagiri jayadeb batika and many more.
