Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was actually not very interested in this course but end up taking this as my parents liked it But i slowly became adjusted to it and now i am happy about my course Taking this course would allow us to work in core electrical industries and can get a good salary based on the skill The frequency of exams are very high A lot of work is given like homeworks, projects, lab record along with these exams so it would also be hard to study

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The registration and newses on ongoig Internships are send to students via whatsapp group and there are dedicated people to do this So many top tier institutions provide high value certificates and even provide high stipend for doing internships at their institutions which will also helps us when we are applying for a job

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement statitics of fisat os very high with an average package of 517000 per year and a highest package touching more than 1700000 per year The placemnt procedures usually starts from 7th semester but our college provides placement training from 3rd semester onwards Our college have a very good placement cell and therefore so many top tier and core companies visits our campus According to my knowledge Almost all students with no backlogs are able to secure a good job via placement My plan is also to get a good job via placement with a decent salary

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee of the college is 93500 per year It includes also fee like pta fund, value added course, lab fees, examination fees etc.. A caution fee of 10000 is also needed for the first time Extra payment should be done for the uniform which is about 3500 rs Some of my classmates who are NRI quota and with low marks or rank are paying almost 1.4 lakhs as tution fee a year Our institution provides various scholarships for students with low keam rank and students with low family income

Campus Life

4.5

There are many fests that are happening in our college So many inter and intra college fest, workshops, hackathons, culturals etc are happening in our college throughout the year The main event of our college ia bharatham which occurs only in 2 years Our college have a very large library which students can access even after college timings Our college also promotes extracurricular activities very well our college have almost all sports facilities and our college teams have won many championships There are also many student clubs like nss, ncc, ieee, iedc etc. Which organises many events and helps in networking

Admission

I have chosen this college over sjcet is mainly because of the placement statitics and academic excellence. The average package of fisat is 5.17lakhs per annum with a highest package of above 17 lakhs per annum The other reason is that if i have chosen sjcet i would have to stay in hostel whereas i can be a dayscholar in fisat I didnt got any rejection from sjcet infact they offered me eee seat for only 35k per year The admission in fisat can be either by seat allotment from keam or by directly visiting the college or contacting them The admission procedure are very fast and efficient

Faculty

4

There are a lot of faculties in fisat. The student to faculty ratio is very high, every 20 students have an individual group advisor whom we can contact for any help or doubts. Most of the teachers are highly educated and can be contacted any time for asking doubts 2 series exams are conducted in a semester by which our internal marks are calculated which will be adding up with our semester exam The series exams are easy to clear but we need to study well to clear the semester exam Class test will also be conducted depending on the teacher

Other Applied Colleges

St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology - [SJCET] Palai | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)

The quality of academics and placement is better in fisat than sjcet

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows
