Dislikes
- There is no mosques nearby. Eee have to go to angamaly every Friday which is 7 km away
- Events could have been more better. Not saying that it's too bad
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen EIE as my main and it's quite good . It have got great potential as it's the future. Only very few collages in kerala have EIE. When it comes to difficulty level only the last 2 sems will be different from that of ECE
Internships Opportunities
As I am currently in sem 1 I cannot say much about internships. But I have heard that internships are good here. Many companies like TCS and all visits the campus all the time so internships here is good
Placement Experience
Campus placement are good in FISAT when compared to other self finance collages in kerala. We will be eligible for placement after the 6th sem Many multinational and international companies like TCS,BOSCH, SCHINDLER,FEDRAL BANK,COGNIZANT,IBM ... Is the company that have visited here. Highest is 17.6 lap and average is 7lpa 100% placement assistance are being provided
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit fees is 94000 while management seats are for 145000 per year . Extra 25000 are being charged as registration fees in which caution deposit are included. Additional scholarships are being awarded based on marks and category.
Campus Life
Fisat have mainly two events named bharatham and arang. In which bharatham takes place once in every 2 year and arang happens once a year. The collage library is huge and has vast collection of resources and books. Smart classrooms Fisat is well known for its sport activites. Football, basketball, kabadi, cricket, volleyball, badminton..... Is very famous in FISAT The clubs are based on the department.
Hostel Facilities
The food here is good when compared to others but it is bit expensive when comparing. Hostel is not that great but it's okay. Hostel fees is 37000 per year and food costs 4840 per month Rooms are available near by location (pandipally)
Admission
The is one of the best self finance collage in kerala. I had applied for SNGCE and had gotten a seat in there with less fees than here. But still I went to fisat because of its infrastructure and placements. My keam score was very low so I couldn't get in to other collages Addmission process is very simple and straightforward. Exams accepted is KEAM,JEE
Faculty
The faculty here is quiet frequently and approachable at any time. They will support for every thing but are a bit strict when it comes to studying. The exams are under KTU so nothing can be said about that.
