Some time in our college fight took place in every Event which will send a bad impact on others thats why police vans are always stand in front of college.

My college experience so far

Likes

The campus is big it is the biggest campus in whole du but it includes Day and evening
The crowd is good filled diversity from different places of India

Dislikes

In my class the boys to girl ratio is very bad like 95% are boys

Placement Experience:

You can be eligible for campus placement when you have entered 3 year in your degree. There are several companies that come for placement such as Deloitte JP Morgan and many more. The placement percentage is that 80% of my seniors got placed from my course. I plan to first develop my skills to get a better package.

Life in dyal singh evening

Likes

I liked the canteen because it is quite pocket friendly as you can buy a non-veg thali in just 80rs there have been some complaints recently but it is good on ground level
The study environment is chill the assignment and the professor do not pressurise a lot

Dislikes

There is no funds released for sports facilities in the college the admin is not even responsible enough to provide basic kits and diets whose funds are given by delhi university
The infrastructure is quite old and untidy

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd year student get enrolled into internships and for placements after the 5th year the student who are active in studies and networking start getting a placement and are provided with chances there are various banks that come for placements and the highest offer earlier this year was of 20 lakh per anum highest offer is 20lakh a year and avg is 4lakh and most of the time the apportunities of consultants are offered

Dyal Singh Evening College: A dream college

Likes

The knowledgeable and supportive teachers and staff are the most important thing for a college and this one has that element in it.
Affordable and hygienic food and water facilities.

Dislikes

Timings of the college are 8 to 5pm which is a little late for me.
The security guards don't let students take "CAKE" inside the building.

Placement Experience:

About the placement, there is a society in the college called The placement cell (TPC) and it's quite famous. It has many network and has gotten hefty packages for the college students registered in their placement campaign which happens every year.

Me and my college life review

Provides many opportunities for empowering stud
Gives us a clarity in our mind for our dreams

Dislikes

There are so many subjects so that there is a lot of academic pressure
I have to travel 4 hour’s daily to attend classes and they goes upto 8 o clock in the evening

Placement Experience:

Yess my college has placement cell and also students can apply in that in their final year and get a pretty good package for their job and having a placement cell in the college also gives us a securing feel that we can have a good package at the end of our college life.

My overall experience in University of Delhi.

Likes

Activities and the society works for the creativity and interest of the students.
Availability of resources in campus and college.

Dislikes

Cancellation of classes as students face problems in travelling
Fans doesn't work properly in summer which cause huge disturbance in studies.

I chose this course because I'm interested in commerce. I'm preparing for my C.S. examination and it helps it that also. Maximum no. of students opt this course according to their preferences. There were a total 6 semesters in this course which is divided into 3 years. It is necessary to pass all the semesters to complete the degree of graduation.

Taking admission in DU- decision I don't regret.

Likes

Faculty were good and were not too strict with us, friendly crowd.

Dislikes

Lack of proper infrastructure for sports and fests were hardly conducted in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, I had a keen interest in accounting and finance. And it was in line with the areas I had studied till 12th and wanted to study after graduation. There was an appropriate number of teachers for the batch, they were highly qualified and they used to provide me with a depth understanding of the concept whenever any doubt was raised from my side. To be honest, COVID-19 made it super easy for everyone to score marks, I physically appeared for 1st and 6th semesters, rest of them happened online. For exams, I would suggest studying 10 years thoroughly which all of us did.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose b.com because it is simple and there is enough time to prepare for other government exams. The college follows the curriculum provided by Delhi University. the faculty is qualified enough and most of them have years of experience in teaching. They follow simple methods of teaching and are always ready to help. The faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40. There are two-semester exams every year and the exams are easier to crack even with little knowledge of the subjects.
